"Here we are." He turned around to face me, arms wide. "Welcome to my humble home."

"It looks, like a castle, though smaller."It did, the classic style of architecture covered in white, it pointed rooftop in a shade of pale blue, surrounded by a small garden, literally filled with a lot of flowers. Vines grew along the walls on the left, red roses among the green, just like how I imagined Juliet's place would be, as she stood by the balcony waiting for Romeo.

"Well, I did say I was prince, didn't I?", he said, winking at me. In truth, my mind couldn't agree more, but I didn't want to give him that pleasure.

"Oh yes. My humblest apologies, oh Prince of Spilled Coffee." I took a step back, before doing a mock curtsy, raising my head to look at him.

"You'r not gonna let go of that spilling, are you?"He grinned at me.

I grinned back. "Nope. Not a chance. Now are we gonna stay out here Albert? Cause this damsel is hungry", I rubbed my stomach for extra effects.

He just grinned. "Come on in." He took out his key, and opened the door, holding it open for me.

I was just about to walk in, when he grabbed my hand."Cara?"

"Yeah?" He was just in front of me, his stark eyes gazing into mine. I wasn't sure I could hear his words after that, for my heart was louder than any drum I've heard. But his voice floated through, as gentle as his touch. "Call me Al."

I could only nod, looking straight into his yes, sure I would faint if I did anything else. With a little difficulty, I paced down my racing heart, and managed to get my feet across to the living room.

"Mom? We're home." He walked further in, while I stood admiring the living room. Everything looked so grand and was really neat. I shuddered, thinking of the mess I called my room. There was even a chandelier right above me, the pieces of glass glinting in the sunlight that streamed through the open french windows that overlooked the garden in the back.

"Cara" I turned around, as he continued speaking. "Meet my mother." I extended my hand to shake hers. "Its nice to meet you Mrs- Ma'am"I had almost forgotten about the divorce, and hoped she didn't notice my switch. Luckily she didn't. "Please, call me Alexa. I don't even let my employees call me that", she waved her hand aside. "Come on in dear. You must be famished".

I followed her, Al tailing me. "Your mom is so pretty" She was, her brown hair falling across  her shoulder, as she bent to take something out of the fridge. At least now I knew where he got his blue eyes from.

"Al told me you like pasta" I looked at him, his face turning pink, as he pulled out a chair for me. "Anything is fine for me. I have no specific demands.. or anything"I glared at him, as he sat down beside me.

"Oh its no trouble. He likes it too, something he wanted to try ever since he saw it on TV."

"Really?", I turned, eyebrows raised, but his wide eyes were on his mom, as she brought brought it out to the table. She smiled at him, taking off the gloves. "I thought you liked spaghetti with pieces of hot dog in it", she said, looking at him.

I couldn't stop the grin from spreading just like the blush on his face did. Guess I wasn't the only Big Bang Theory crazed fan in town anymore. But I also didn't want him to regret bringing me here.

"Its actually one of my favourites too", I said, feeling him gaze at me. She smiled at me, as she filled our plates, before taking a seat opposite mine.

"So Cara, tell me about yourself. How did you two lovebirds meet?"

I almost choked, while the fork went flying from his hand, his face red and words rough. "Mom! She's just a friend"
