Lestat (One shots)

Jealousy

(This is a one shot about Marius being jealous of Lestats relationship with a girl named Riley) 

Lestat was on the couch playing video games with his girlfriend Riley, they were playing their favorite video game Diablo 3. It was safe to say that Riley had taught him well, since he was practically killing more demons than she was. "You brat prince!" she laughed. Lestat smirked. "You had taught me well my love" he replied. They continued playing until Lestat sensed something. It was there in the very mansion they were in. "Marius!" he whispered. Riley noticed the look on Lestats face. "What's wrong love?" she asked, setting her controller down on the couch. "It's Marius, he's here." he said. "What?!" said Riley. She began to worry. "Stay here." was all he had said and he was gone faster than Riley could say another word. 

Lestat (p.o.v) 

I made my way upstairs to the living room where my maker awaited me. He set the magazine he was reading down on the coffee table. He stood before me and said my name "Lestat, it is good to see you again." he said. "What are you doing here?" I asked. "I only wanted to see you again, it has been sometime since we had seen one another." he said. I sighed. "Marius you left me all those years ago and now you decide to return." I was getting agitated. "Lestat let's not get angry now.." he trailed off. He could feel another presence in the mansion. "There is a mortal in this house." he said. I nodded, feeling a bit guilty. "Yes I.." I started before he interrupted me. "You thought you could get away with it...Lestat she is a mortal, you know she is and you are well aware of your new powers." he reminded me. "Marius I do not wish harm upon the girl, she is very dear to me... I would not dare." I said. 

"Dear to you?" he scoffed. 

"Marius I love Riley! She means the world to me, and I cannot endure this eternal life without her. I'm sick of being alone, not having a companion at my side, she is the reason I go on in life. You must understand that. When are you going to stop criticizing me and just let me be happy?" I said. I nearly cried saying those words. Marius noticed the look in my eyes, realizing how much Riley meant to me. Before I knew it she had come into the room. 

"Lestat is everything alright? You're taking a long time." she said. "Come here." I said gesturing for her to come to my side. She did as I said and I took her hand in mine. "Marius this is Riley, my girlfriend." I said. "So this is the one who made you?" she asked. Marius and I nodded. 

He looked at me and Riley. "So this woman makes you happy Lestat?" he asked. "Yes, more than words could say." I replied. Marius sighed. "Very well." he said. He was gone without another word. Riley was confused. "What was that about?" she asked. "Nothing my love." I replied. Riley gave me that look that told me she knew I was lying. I sighed. "Alright, Marius was jealous. He thought I'd bring you harm because of the monster I am." I said. Rileys expression softened. "Oh Lestat, you're not a monster. You are a good person, and I love you more than anything. Marius was just concerned and a bit overprotective to say the least." I laughed. "I suppose so." I replied. "Come on, let's go to bed." she said making her way downstairs. She stopped and smirked. "Lestat, the quicker you come the more kisses you get." she said with a wink. I grinned devilishly and followed her. 

She ran to our room and before she could reach it I caught her. She laughed. I laid her down on the bed and crawled on top of her. "Where is my kiss?" I teased. "Right...here." she said and kissed me passionately. Which had led to a very passionate evening together.
