11| Act Two

Gina:"Let's give Auradon a taste of evil. Wicked ways  beneath the skin...let's all you taste it, now join in."

I came out of my daydream, to flashing in my face, but I just smiled, enjoying the people taking pictures.
Reporter #1:"Gina, please, over here! Gina!"
Reporter #2:"Only three days to the Royal Cotillion. Ever think a girl like you would be Queen of Auradon?"
Gina:"No, I didn't think I would be anything, but I'm glad that I'm here." I smiled.
Reporter #3:"How are you doing after your father died?"
Gina:"I'm dealing with it, but he's at peace with my mother, so I'm happy."
Reporter #4:"Is Mal's mom still a lizard?"
Then Ben came up and wraps his arms around my waist,"Okay. All right. Excuse me. Uh, we will let you know if and when that particular situation changes."
Reporter #2:"Did you ever think you'd be with a villain kid?"
Ben:"Were done here."
Then Fairy Godmother walked up,"Okay. Shush. Shush. Shoosh, shoosh. Shoosh, shoosh. This is still a school, so if you're here, you're either skipping or trespassing."
Reporter #3:"Just one quick question."
Fairy Godmother:"Shush. Shush."
Reporter #3:"Fairy Godmother."
Fairy Godmother:"Shh. Shh. Shh."
Then the reporter walked away.
Ben:"Thank you, guys."
Gina:"Thank you. Thank you. Thank you."
Fairy Godmother:"Gina. Ben."
Ben&Gina:"Fairy Godmother."
She walks away.
Gina:"Whew. That's a lot to get use to. I missed you."
Ben:"I miss you too. Don't pay any attention to them, but your a natural."
Gina:"Yeah, it's like the cameras love me."
Ben:"Yeah, I know, because you're beautiful. We should go somewhere, you know, get away."
Gina:"Yeah."
Ben:"You know, what do-I have a council meeting. I'm so late!"
Gina:"Then go, I'll be fine, we can do it when you get back."
Then Evie walks up,"If you don't do a fitting for your gown right this minute, you'll be dancing in your bath robe, okay?" She looks at Ben."I'm stealing your girlfriend for a few hours. Let's go. Let's go."
I pecked Ben on the lips,"Bye, baby, I love you."
Ben:"I love you."
We walked away, and the reporters saw Ben,"King Ben! King Ben! King Ben!"
Ben:"Uh..."

In Mal&Evie's dorm room.
Mal was sitting on the bed, while Evie was doing my dress,"Oh! Okay, Evie, I can't breathe."
Evie:"Well, you can breathe after cotillion."
Gina:"Well, I sincerely doubt that. I have at least 20 more events directly behind it, I don't know how they do it."
Evie:"Impeccable."
Then Mal spoke up,"Gina? Evie?"
Gina&Evie:"Mmm."
Mal:"Do you ever think about what we'd be doing if we were back on the Isle right now?"
Gina:"That's funny. Ah! Look I'm on TV." I smiled.
TV:"As the royal couple continues their tour of the kingdom, they dined with Aladdin and Jasmine. Six months ago..."
Gina:"Yeah."
TV:"No one thought King Ben and his girlfriend from the wrong side of the bridge would last."
Gina:"Yeah. No kidding."
TV:"Gina must be counting the days until the royal cotillion...where she will be crowned Queen of Auradon."
Mal gasped and sat on her bed and got her spell book out,"Read it fast at lighting speed. Remember everything I need." She starts reading her 'How to be a Lady.'
Gina:"I know Mal's secret to fitting in, and Tom wouldn't like it one bit. Haven't you guys had enough secrets between the two of you already?"
Mal:"G, you remember what I was like before I started using my spell book. I mean, I was a complete disaster."
Gina:"Well, personally, as one of your best friends, I strongly believe that this spell book-"
Mal:"Ah!"
Gina:"It belongs in the museum, along with Evie's mirror and my spell book." Mal gives me her face."Don't give me that face. Put the pout away. Mm-Hmm. You know I'm right."
Mal:"You two don't miss running wild and just breaking all the rules?"
Evie:"Like stealing and lying and fighting?"
Mal:"Yeah!"
Gina:"No!"
Mal:"What?"
Evie:"Why would we? M, come here. Look at where we are. We're in Auradon! And we're we're Auradon girls now."
TV:"Since Gina revealed her love of strawberries, she has received hundreds of cartons from her admirers. Here she is enjoying a cozy bite..."
Gina:"See, this is a land of opportunity. We can be whatever we want to be here. So, please, let's just leave the past in the past, okay? Besides, I mean, look at my shoes. Look at them." I smiled.
Mal:"Mm. Severe."

We were walking to class, and Jay was talking to a girl.
Female #1:"Hi, Jay." She smiles.
Jay:"Hey."
Female #2:"Jay."
Jay:"Hey, what's up."
Female #3:"Hi."
Carlos:"Why do you torture them? Just pick someone to take to cotillion already."
Jay:"I'm going solo. That way, I can dance with all of them."
Carlos:"Ah! You're the expert. Um, Jay...if you were gonna ask someone, what's the best way to go?"
Jay:"Listen, all you got to do...is look like me."
Carlos:"Oh, ha-ha."
Then Jane walks up,"Gina."
Carlos sees Jane,"Hey Jane."
Jane:"Hey."
Carlos:"I was wondering...Uh...if you like the...carrot cake last night."
Jane smiles,"I had the pumpkin pie."
Carlos:"Oh, cool. Um, uh..."
Jay drags Carlos away,"Smooth."
Evie:"I have an opening for a fitting at 3:00. Who wants it?"
Jane was about to say something but Lonnie got it first,"Me! Sorry."
Evie:"Perfect." She then said to Jane."I'll take you later."
Jane:"Gina?"
Gina:"Yes?"
Jane:"I hate to keep bugging you, but the decorating committee needs more answers. So, as much as I hate to, um...you know, um..."
Gina:"Bug me?"
Jane:"Right."
Gina:"It's okay, Jane, it won't bug me at all, go ahead."
Jane:"Chair swags. Entry banner. Twinkle lights. Napkin design. Table bunting. And you still haven't picked the party favors yet."
Gina:"Honestly, Jane, whatever you think-"
Jane:"I mean, we can do chains, key charms, pen toppers. I kind of love the pen toppers, but, I mean, we can do all three."
Gina:"I say pen toppers."
Jane:"Yeah?"
Gina:"Yeah."
Jane:"You won't regret it."
Lonnie:"I can't hardly wait to see what your wedding will look like." She smiles.
Gina:"Wait, really." I begin to smile.
Jane:"The Royal cotillion is like getting engaged to be engaged."
Evie:"I knew it."
Lonnie:"Well, everyone knows it."
Gina:"This is such a surprise, I've been thinking about marrying Ben." I smiled.
Mal:"Her whole life is Just planned out in front of her-"
Then Ben came up from behind me,"Hi, Gina."
Girls except Mal:"Hi, Ben."
Jane:"Oh, oh, quick moment." She drags Ben away.
Ben:"Uh..."
Jane:"All right, they're almost finished with the surprise girl Gina's big night. Snow White, Belle. But the one you designed for Gina is my favorite."
Ben:"Make sure her eyes are blue." He turns to me."Uh...see you later."
Gina:"Okay."
Jane:"Which blue should we use?" She holds up different kinds of blues.
Ben:"Uh...this one." He holds up the right color.
