25| Night Falls and One Kiss

~
We got to Ben and my castle.
Gina:"Ben!"
Dude laughing,"This way."
I sighed,"Ben could be sleep anywhere."
Uma:"Or stones to stone."
Gina:"Ben!"
Dude:"I got a scent. Very pungent cologne. Easy to track. Follow me, people."
Carlos:"That's great, Dude."
Dude:"FYI, I give great cuddles, too."
Gil:"Really? I never had a pet growing up. Well, except for the elk head in Dad's man cave."
Gina:"But that wasn't..."
Uma:"Hold up. What's this?"
They see three claw marks on the wall.
Uma:"Uh...any chance this was already here?"
Dude sighs,"And follow me.
We walked into another room, and I grew worried,"Ben! Ben! Ben! Ben!"
Evie said to Celia,"Stay here, okay?"
Harry:"I can feel you looking."
Jay:"Good."
Gil:"So you can track, cuddle, and talk. Hey, do you think his puppies would be able to talk, too?"
Carlos:"All right, man. He's taken. You want a dog, adopt a rescue."
Dude laughing,"Talking puppies, that's crazy."
Carlos:"Come here."
Dude:"He seems nice."
Uma:"I bet you lost some sleep thinking about me on the loose?"
Gina:"No. I slept like a baby. I wonder what fried octopus tastes like."
Evie:"Okay. Why don't we not do this?"
Gina:"Were celebrating our differences." I fake smile at Uma.
Harry looks at the knight, pink smoke coming out the mouth,"I believe we're being challenged."
Gina:"Let's split up and look for Audrey."
Uma:"That makes absolutely no sense."
Gina:"Unless you give me the ember, she's going to spell you."
Harry:"Girls! We have a situation here."
Audrey:"Do you like a prince, Gina? How about a knight in shining armor? Or knights?" She laughed.

Audrey:"No!"
We were all cheering,"Yeah!"
Jay:"Come on. Yeah!"
Uma:"We did that what I'm talk..." I was about to hug her but I back away.
Jay:"Hey good job."
Carlos:"Were..."
Evie:"Guys, come on. This was so great. We were a team. We worked together. Come on. Come on. Mm-mm." She sighs."You know what we should try? An icebreaker. You say something you really like about the other person, okay? I'll start. Harry. Great accent. Now, you go."
Uma:"Is she always this perky?"
Evie:"Oh, it wasn't really your turn, but thank you."
Gina:"Okay, Evie, honey, come here."
Evie:"Yeah."
Gina:"I love you."
Evie:"I love you."
Gina:"I love this energy, but we are very short on time. Audrey clearly knows that we're here and we need to get out of here, ASAP."
Uma:"All right, where does this cheerleader bunk down? Even if she's not there, we might find some sort of clue."
Mal:"Actually, shes still in the dorms."
Carlos:"You're right, because of summer school."
Harry laughs,"What? Summer school? Summer school! No wonder she wants revenge."
Gina:"Okay. I need you guys to go find Ben. We will meet back at Evie's in two hours, okay?"
Uma:"Sounds like we're going with my plan. I'm just saying."
Mal:"It was kind of the obvious plan."
Gil:"Uma said it first."
Uma:"Right. So my plan. Right?"
Gina:"Whatever."

We were all in Audrey's dorm room.
Evie:"She's nowhere on campus."
Uma:"Found her diary. And dang, did you ruin Audrey's life."
Gina:"Okay. So did you find anything in there that we don't already know or..."
Uma:"She hangs out at Fairy Cottage. You know, where Flora, Fauna, and Merryweather hid her mom from your mom."
Mal:"Yes. The irony is not lost on me."
Uma:"How could anybody with this bed ever be unhappy?"
Celia:"Okay. How do I look?" She said with the jewelry on.
Evie:"Okay, the bling stays here."
Celia:"But she's bad."
Evie:"And were not."

In the woods.
Carlos:"Ben!"
Jay:"Ben!"
Carlos:"Dude. Come on. Nothing?"
Gil:"These things just grow everywhere. Hey, we should play icebreaker. Um, Jay, I like the way you can bounce around and jump off things. These are free, right?"
Jay:"Yeah. Um..." He chuckles."I like how you get a kick out of a berry bush."
Gil:"I guess you've probably seen everything by now, huh? Furry rocks. Giant fish. You're probably used to grabbing lunch off of a bush."
Jay:"No. I mean, no, not really. I mainly just use the vending machines at practice. You know, tourney, kinds of eats up most of my time. So..."
Harry laughs,"Tourney, that's a wee boys game."
Gil:"Hey, you know what would be fun? To go rafting on a jungle river.
Jay:"Find a lost civilization."
Gil:"Oh, or maybe a penguin."
Jay:"Oh, well, you'd find those more in like icebergs but I love to see one of those."
Harry:"You guys are killing me. Hmm. P.S. your mutt went that way."
Dude:"Carlos!"
Carlos:"Dude, what do you see?"
Dude:"This way!"

At Evie's house.
Gina:"I really hope they found Ben." I sighed.
Uma:"Nice digs."
Evie:"I got a really good deal."
We hear groaning in the living room, we see Dizzy and the twins sleep. Dizzy groaning in her sleep.
Celia:"It's okay." She pulls up the covers on Dizzy and the twins."Shh! It's okay. Don't worry, Dizzy. We can fix this. And once we do, they're gonna let all the kids come from the Isle. So, happy dreams."
I feel guilty, then we hear snoring in Evie workshop, and it Doug.
Uma:"Uh, who's the dude?"
Evie:"Doug. Doug. Wake up. Wake up."
Uma:"He's spelled. Is she not a fast learner?"
Mal:"She's emotional involved, okay?"
Uma:"Well in that case, she should be able to wake him up. True loves kiss, works every time."
Evie:"Well, we haven't used the "L" word yet. Can we be alone?"
I smiles softly to her.

Evie leans down towards Doug and kisses him, and then she pulled away, and Doug snores. Evie walks away, and then she sees Doug move, and she turns back around. She playfully hits him in the legs. Doug laughs.
Evie:"That's not funny." She pouts and sat next to him.
Doug:"I love you too."
Evie smiles.
