Dan 1
I walked into the flat, my arms full of groceries from the shop. We were only two people, but we ate quite a lot.
“Dan, is that you?” I heard Phil’s voice call from down the hall.
“Well who else would it be?” I said with a small grin. I soon heard feet thumping down the hallway towards the living room. Phil stood in the opening of the hallway, half-naked. He was almost... beautiful... No. No, no, no. Dan, you aren’t gay.
“Can I help you with those?” said Phil, holding his hands out to grab the bags of geceries. He took half, and heaved them to the kitchen, beginning to put them away.
“I’ll do that,” I said to Phil. “Go put a shirt on.”
“All right,” Phil said, and walked back to his room. I knew that I wouldn’t be able to help myself from staring if he wore no shirt all day. What was going on? I never had any problem with it before. A couple minutes later, Phil came out wearing a dark grey sweatshirt I got him last year for Christmas. Unfortunately for me, it fit him perfectly, and made his ebony hair all the more sexy.
No, Dan. You’re not gay. And not for Phil especially.
“I need to get some work done,” I said. I couldn’t bear to be near Phil at the moment.
“Alright, I’ll put the groceries away then,” Phil said.
I walked back to my room and sat on the bed. What was wrong with me? I couldn’t like Phil. He was my best mate. We were just flatmates, nothing more. And anyway, he was dating that girl, Jenna. No. You’re just ill, Dan. You’re tired. Yeah. Just tired.
I drifted off to sleep on the bed, thinking about Phil.
A/N: Sorry it's kind of short. They won't all be this short.
