Ashton's point of view

Out of the corner of my eyes I coyld faintly see the sun shining through the curtains of the windows as morning arises.

I opened my eyes fully and turned so that I was facing my alarm clock, it read:

6:31

Well I'm not getting back to sleep now so I might as well get up, I sat up and flipped my feet over the side of the bed.

For a while I just sat there with my head in my hands trying to adjust to what had been going on in my pointless life.

Oh yeah, hell literally arrived at my school, and I don't even need to mention a name for who it is.

I sighed, stood up, sighed again and then flopped face down onto my bed.

Suddenly the door to my bedroom door was opened and my mum walked in.

"Get up and stop being lazy Ashton, you need to get ready for school!" She tutted at me and left again.

"I'm not lazy, I'm just on my energy saving mode!" I shouted back at her.

"Get dressed!"

I did as I was told and got dressed into the schools uniform which was a black, white and blue tie, a white shirt and we were free to were whatever we wanted on the bottom half.

Our school is pretty laid back on uniform but when it comes to handing out homework they act like its world war 2 again and we are the enemies.

I put on some denim skinny jeans with rips on the knee and some black converse with a grey hoodie to go with it.

I slid down the stairs into the kitchen and started sliding about in my socks.

What, I want a good start to the day!

"Stop sliding you'll hurt yourself!" Mum scolded and I was forced to stop, I don't get it, parents are supposed to encourage their children to have some fun in life.

This is a free world people, a free world!

"I might just skip breakfast and just go strait to school, I need to take a trip to the library and borrow a book for school," I lied slipping my backpack over one of my shoulders.
I wasn't really in the mood for breakfast today.

"Kk, just make sure you have something after school, I have to work late tonight," she said and kissed me on the cheek lightly and then let me leave.

Half way there one of my friends ran over to meet me from the other side of the street.

Ava is really nice and is probably one of the closest friends it had, and not mention she is really pretty.

"Hay ash, or should I say ghost boy," she joked punching me on the arm lightly.

Ava is half American so that means sometimes her accent goes completely American, but I kind of like it.

"I wasn't being a ghost boy I just had stuff to do," I said smiling at her.

"What? Like hanging out with the new boy?" She teased and I scrunched my nose up at her comment.

"Who, Luke, ugh that boy is so annoying!" I said not looking her in the eyes.

"Oh c'mon I saw him following you home last night!" She giggled at my facial expression and I shivered in disgust.

"Anyway, I was wondering if you wanted to meet up tonight?" She asked and I smiled at her.

"Sure, I'd love to, my mums out tonight want to come over?" I asked back and she nodded eagerly.

"See you tonight then!" I waved goodbye and walked through the school gates and just went right into the building.
