All I Wanna Do | Danny Amendola

Chapter 9

** Not Edited ** So, I got a day off... I wrote but I don't want y'all to have to wait, so here's the rush release! Hope you guys enjoy!!!

"Have you seen Leo?!" Penny frantically asked as she found me talking to some of my old school friends.

I raised an eyebrow and shook my head. "Danny and Jules took him somewhere," I told her. "That has to be like 10 minutes ago..."

"Can you help me find them? My mum is ready to take him back to her room," she told me. She was clearly disheveled because she'd been looking around for a while.

I nodded. We went in different directions and it wasn't until I went to look for Tom that I noticed most of the guys were not around and the door to the patio was cracked open.

Of course they were on the patio... I had a feeling I knew what they were doing, too. When I slid onto the patio, sure enough, Danny, Leo, Julian, Tom, Gronk, Matt and even Jack were sitting around the little bonfire pit passing around the cookies my mom had specially made by her friend for the wedding.

"Hey guys," I greeted. Julian was giving a small chunk of the sugar cookie to Leo— who happily grabbed it and stuffed it into his mouth.

All the guys turned to look at me, Danny with the widest eyes and most shocked look on his face. "Jame..." he awkwardly said as he attempted to push the large box under the bench. "What's up?"

I crossed my arms and raised an eyebrow at him. "What ya got there, Dola?" I asked, giving him a knowing look.

"Uh..." he began. "Well... I guess..."

"Cookies!" Leo practically screamed as he reached for the land chunk in Julian's hand.

I tilted my head as I continued giving Danny that knowing look.

Danny playfully rolled his eyes and sighed in defeat. "I broke out the cookies for me and the guys," Danny said in a small voice. "I figured I could do it while it's a bit slower!"

"You're lucky she made extra cookies!" I told him before moving toward them and sitting down between Julian and Danny. "Now..." I reached into the box and grabbed one. "Give me one."

Danny grabbed a cookie from the box and handed it to me. I gladly took a bite. "These are good, but I don't know why you're obsessed with them." I giggled and looked toward him.

Danny shrugged, but before he could speak up, Gronk jumped in. "There has gotta be something that your mom's friend puts in them. They're just so good. And they're addicting! I've had three!"

I shook my head and leaned into Danny, resting my head on his shoulder. "Oh," I said, sitting up. I looked toward Julian and Leo. "Penny was looking good for you guys! It's Leo's bed time."

Both Jules and Leo looked at me with the same look. It wasn't until now that I noticed Julian's glassy blue eyes. "How much have you had to drink?"

Julian waved me off, then spoke up. "But my buddy wants to stay here. Don't ya buddy?"

With wide eyes, Leo rapidly nodded his head. "Unc Danny! Stay!" He cheered as he leaned forward in Julian's lap. Julian let him go and Leo crawled across my lap to get to Danny.
