Chapter 2: Starting their stories: Kara

Previously on learning their truths:

"What did you do chipmunk?!"

Upon hearing Kurt's exclamation all eyes turned towards Barry or is it Sebastian? "Twink?" Santana asked not believing her eyes "what are you doing here? Better question what are any of us doing here and who are they?" She gestured towards teams flash, Supergirl and arrow. Oliver opens his mouth as if to reply when a voice from the ceiling interrupted him "Why we are here to learn the truth of course" Kara, Barry and Blaine paled slightly though no one noticed as they were all too occupied with trying to find out where the voice came from.  At that moment kara and Barry notice Blaine "Music Meister with a truckload of hair gel?" Kara asks. Barry smirks "Well hi I didn't notice you there hair-gel hobbit" Blain looks between Kara and Barry and back again. The movie theatre's screen turns on "First up!" The voice says "The one. The only. Karrrrrra Danverrrrrrrrrs!" They all run to their seats as the screen starts to play the first video.

"My name is Kara Zor-el, twenty-four years ago my planet Krypton was in serious peril"

"Hold up" Santanna raised her hands in protest,                                                                                                  "I thought your name was Marley rose" Karaa shrunk down in her seat as everyone turned to look at her "I'm sure the video will explain" they turn back to look at the screen but not before Santanna shot her a suspicious glance.

"My cousin Kal-el was sent to a planet called earth for his own safety and protection. You may know his story."

Jake looked at Kara "Your cousin is Superman?" she nodded "I dated an alien" Kara glared at him "you also cheated on one" she reminded him. Now it was Alex's turn to get mad "You nasty little creep cheated on my sister?" Jake had the decency to look ashamed and he started to stammer out a reply but was cut off by the video starting again.

"The story you don't know is that I was sent to protect him" Kara says goodbye to her parents.

Quinn squeals "Oh my gosh Marley you were so cute!!!!"

"Things didn't exactly go according to my mother's plan"

Rachel's hand flew to cover her mouth "Oh my god(s)heheheh Marley"

" Krypton's destruction sent a shockwave that knocked my pod off course and into the Phantom Zone. A region in space where time doesn't pass. I slept there for twenty-four years until....

"Sleeping beauty" They all laugh.

".... somehow I got here. When I arrived I was still a thirteen year old girl but in that time my cousin Kal-el had already grown up and revealed himself to your world as Superman. The most powerful man in the universe.

"Again SUPERMAN?!!" Jake shouts

The rest of the video goes without interruptions.

Mike speaks up "So what I'm gathering is your name isn't Marley Rose, You're actually an alien, Your cousin is SUPERMAN, You yourself are supergirl and you lied to us through four years of high school." Kara nods "Pretty much, though I am sorry about lying to you, I just wanted a chance at a normal life." Santanna stood up "I think I speak for all of us..." she cast a threatening look around the room "When I say that you're pretty cool and we understand that you wanted a chance at a normal life so we forgive you. AM I RIGHT?" Everyone nods. "Perfect. On with the show"

"This is for the other teams to get to know Marley"

Kitty is talking about the rapture

Marley turns to Jake and says; "Your half Jewish right?" Jake nods, Marley continues  "Does that mean you'll float up to heaven at half the speed?"

Kara looks over at Jake "I am so so so sorry" Jake shrugs "It's alright"

"I've never been suspended before. I've never even been in trouble for anything!"

Alex looks at Kara "Why were you suspended?" "Mr.Schue suspended me because I didn't feel comfortable wearing a seashell bikini." Alex looked outraged "Where is h-"

"-to get to Breadstixextra early 'cause they're having a Julie Andrews tribute at the Lima Limelight;  Mary Poppins, The Sound of Music, Princess Diaries back to back it's gonna be amazing." (I'm just gonna ignore the next scene) Marley is shown at one of the performances...

Alex looks at her along with Winn and Olsen "You were in a glee club" Kara nods guiltily "Yup"

Sam is shown half shouting at Marley- "What happened to the seashell bikini?" Marley looks at him "I.. wasn't comfortable"  "And you think I'm comfortable up here with no shirt on?" "yeah you probably are" Marley retorts back.

Everyone laughs 

The video continues many of Kara's quips getting laughs from the audience some hearing it for the first time others reliving it.

A/N There will be a part two but it's 12:30 pm and I'm running out of steam right now so, see you later maybe tomorrow.
