Chapter 4: Barry

"Barry Allen!!!!!!!!!!!!! Every head in the theatre place turned to look at the man in question. "Barry....?" Iris said, "What are you hiding?" Barry opened his mouth to speak but was interrupted by a loud "Twink!" Santana. "Why is she calling you Barry?"  There were nods around the room as the New Directions  (A/N Every time I hear this I can't stop hearing 'Nude Erections' hehe") and warblers silently agreed with her. Barry spun around looking at everyone "How about we just watch the videos?"  The voice in the ceiling seemed to agree as a new video showed up on the screen. The ceiling voice spoke "This is for everyone that doesn't know Barry Allen" The video started playing.

(Ignore the beginning) Barry is sitting on the couch with his mom watching singing in the rain  his mom speaks "I told you. Everything's better in song, when you speak its just words when you sing you open up your soul and let who you really are shine through." young barry smiles "Thanks mom" she kisses him "I love you my beautiful boy"  "I love you too"

Everyone in the room smiles Blaine speaks up "Sebastian is that you?" Barry nods as Thad speaks up "She has a point, everything is better in song"

Scene changes: Barry is seen running. V.O: "My story is pretty simple, my whole life I've been running. Usually from bullies. Sometimes I escaped, sometimes I did not." The boys tackle young Barry to the ground and start punching him.

Some people seem to frown at the fact that Sebastian Smythe was bullied, it made no sense, why would a kid who had gone through all of that turn around and do the same to other people?

Scene changes again: Nora is seen wiping off Barry's face "Tell me what happened" Barry looks at her "Those guys were picking on other kids just cause they thought they weren't cool. It wasn't right."

Kurt snorted, he couldn't believe it. This warbler who had tried so hard to break him and Blaine up, who had insulted him at every turn and managed to pick up on every one of his insecurites had been beaten up for protecting other kids from the very thing he had become. It was unbelievable. 

Nora nods "I know" Barry looks down dejected "I guess I wasn't fast enough"

Everyone on who knew about Barry's 'extracurricular activities'  snorted and tried not to laugh "Oh how things change, right Barr?" Iris nudged him smiling. 

Nora grabs his hands and looks into his eyes "You have such a good heart Barry, and it's better to have a good heart than fast legs"

There are nods of agreement from the people watching

The door opens and Henry Allen walks through.

Santanna looked at Barry "Is that your dad? I thought..." Barry nodded "Thats my dad the one you met is my uncle"

"Hello I'm home" Nora smiles at him "Barry got into a fight" "oh yeah?" Nora continues "And he won" His dad looks at him "way to go slugger" Nora gives him a pointed look "Oh, and uh no more fighting."

"Wow"

Scene changes to Barry's room(?) Nora pokes Barry's face "Ouch" he says with much pain and emotion. "Your bruise (Am I the only one who doesn't see a thing on his face? Like not one single blemish or bruise or scrape?) is already healing" Barry looks grumpily at her "It still hurts" he says like a wimp "Not for much longer honey, here I'll keep the light on for you" She tucks him in "Were you ever afraid of the dark?"  "If I turn this light off right now would you be afraid?" Barry thinks "..No" She smiles thats because I'm here with you, see barry you aren't afraid of the dark, you're afraid of being alone in the dark. And that goes away when you realize, you aren't ever alone."
