Author's note: Life is busy right now and it's hard to balance my stories with real-life things but finally, the long awaited new chapter is out.
If you'd like a request, my DMs or the comment sections are open. In the future, I'm considering perhaps writing more high-quality and well-edited works for commission (meaning paying for requests) once I get a credit card.
Anyhow, enjoy!!Alexa smiled graciously as (y/n) held open her mansion's front door. The dinner party was eventful to say the least but at least they were done with it now. Alexa was just glad that she could get away from the crazy fans and their annoyingly petulant attempts at vying for her attention.
"What a gentleman," Alexa mused, "so well-mannered."
(y/n) chuckled at this, "Only for you."
Alexa tucked a tress of golden hair behind her ear, "I can work with that."
Alexa gave a small smirk to accompanying her statement and (y/n) swallowed slightly at this, a tinge of pink filled his cheeks. Her words weren't suggestive or sexual in any way but the young man still found himself and his imagination flutter around when she talked to him.
"(y/n)?" Alexa said rather quietly, snapping the young man back to reality.
"Sorry, I zoned out for a second." (y/n) apologized tersely, still cautious with his words around the rather distant singer who seems to scamper away or lock herself off as soon as something struck a personal chord.
"Oh, no, don't be. If anything, I should be the one apologizing..." She cleared her throat and looked at the small bruise on (y/n)'s cheekbone.
He noticed her gaze and waved his hands dismissively. "It's fine, it's not your fault they jumped me."
"It kind of is though. I mean, crazy fans and I have a history." Alexa settled down on her couch, the soft, plush surface pressed against her back as she leaned back.
(y/n) felt a slight shock at her apologizing, it wasn't common for Alexa to outright admit and put herself in the way of guilt. He scratched his head and without thinking asked a question that was rather forwards.
"I hate to be so nosy and I know you don't really talk about your personal struggles but why do you have so many crazy fans?" (y/n) cringed internally just as the final word left his mouth. Great... You fucked it up.
Surprisingly, the blonde WWE star gave a shrug and a sigh, before delivering a shockingly straightforward answer, devoid of her usual evasive, slightly snarky, at times sarcastic tone.
"I guess the die hard fans really took offense as I came to the WWE." Alexa tilted her head back to look at her ivory-coloured ceiling, her pale throats exposed to (y/n) for a moment before she looked to him. "I had my ambitions, my dreams, I wanted to be able to share my work with a larger audience."
(y/n) stiffened at this and sat down beside his her, "Then those bastards are not true fans for not understanding your decisions."
Alexa blinked at this, genuinely touched by his words. "That means a lot, (y/n). People usually don't understand when I tell them... It's always 'But you're Alexa' or 'Quit playing, you're so successful' the occasional 'Don't lie, we all know who you are, we see how you act in public, no way do you have personal issues'."
(y/n) chewed on the inside of his cheek; a lot seemed to make sense now. He nodded slowly and replied with care, choosing his words cautiously. "I know how it feels to experience so much pressure from so many people, but you're a fighter and you'll pull through."
