Episode 13: Latch

With his mouth pressed to hers, Valentina's hand nimbly reached behind her and flicked the lock on the apartment door. The sound of it made her heart slam against her rib cage. It brought a certain confirmation that there was no turning back now. They were both going to do this taboo act of a one night stand.

She yelped when his lips bit down onto her own.

Her eyes flicked up to see that his gaze had a wicked contempt swirling within them.

They were dark and dangerous as he quietly warned, "Don't space out."

Despite the unfavorable scenario in which he decided to showcase such a pair of eyes she couldn't help but be mesmerized by them.

What a beautiful set they were.

A serene green.

Like a rainforest.

She couldn't help but want to get lost inside of them.

But then her lips started to throb and she felt herself glare at him for the treatment he meted out because of a moment's daze.

"Did you really have to go that far?"

"Oh, you have no idea how far I can go." He bent his neck and dipped down to capture her mouth. Wide-eyed, she surrendered to the force of him, utterly consumed by the magnetism between them. The way he could have her at his mercy with just one kiss was honestly insane.

She never thought that one kiss would be all it took for her to think about the plethora of possibilities which were running around in her mind.

There was a craving for him to not only kiss her some more, but touch her, own her.

Just as she was about to wrap her hands around his neck to deepen the kiss, she was taken by surprise when he pinned her wrists above her head. With her chest rising and falling, she watched as his free hand journeyed down the length of her slender body.

At every point he touched, it felt like he left a trail blaze there.

The heat of him spreaded like a wildfire.

"To tell you the truth I would've been unimaginably bitter in the ride back to my place if you had declined my final plea."

Her eyes followed the movements of his lips, the tone in which he spoke being similar to that of a male siren. It pulled her in and wrapped around her like a bittersweet melody, refusing to let go.

"You're speaking like a man who hasn't been faced with rejection before in his life."

"Never." He said seriously.

Her mouth dropped open.

"Ever?" She breathed in disbelief.

He nodded with a cocky smirk on his face and for some reason she wished to knock it off.

She crooned her neck up at him as he stood back up to challenge her height.

"Mmm...maybe I should change my mind and make you have a taste of how that feels then."

"It's already too late for that," he mused with a boastful chuckle. "I'd rather of a taste of you instead." His hand reacted quickly to his statement and took a hold of her waist. Before the woman could even so much as release a gasp, he had hoisted her up and she instinctively reacted by wrapping her legs around him.

He smiled against the skin above her breasts. "Not there."

Following his words, he hooked his warm hands underneath her legs and brought them over his broad shoulders. It was in such an effortless manner that she couldn't help but be amazed despite being brought to such unexpected heights. The squeal in her throat was lost as she stared ahead of her on the pale wall, realizing that this man was indeed full of many surprises.
