Helena:

Hotel rooms, drinks, and laughing. They all surround me in scenes. As they quickly fade one by one, I am changing appearances.

Finally I stop at my last scene that shows a club with strobe lights, couches, bars, and techno music and two people on both sides are next to me. I recognize them, Adam, my boyfriend, and Lexi, my best friend. But it's neither one of their eyes catching mine.

These pair of eyes are far more different than from what I've seen. A hazel color with pale skin around. These eyes must belong to an albino but I can't see who it is. The only thing I see are the eyes. Fixed on mine.

**End of Dream**

I open my own up to the sound of my alarm right before I even figure out who the mysterious person is. hazel.. Adam has blue. If it's not Adam's then why am I dreaming of some other dude? Ugh. Crappy love movies..

I groan at the sunlight shining through my window that mocks me with a good morning. There's nothing good about mornings if it's a Monday.

"Helena are you awake yet?!" My mom calls from the kitchen.

"Sadly..yes," I call back rolling my eyes.

I hear my mom's giggle following by a chuckle from our guest Lewis (who has been staying here since last year but I'll explain his story later)

I throw on my maroon with white sleeves varsity jacket that's says Helena on the right side over my white crop top along with my white high waisted shorts and white over the knee socks and white vans with maroon strips. I leave my light brown hair down and straighten it after I put on my no smudge eyeliner and expensive mascara.

In the end, I look in the mirror. I look beautiful. No wonder people call me Barbie.. After all the makeup I applied, I realize I only put on dispair. And at that moment, I actually thought of taking it all off and start screaming. But that's saved for when I get home.

I grab my plain black book bag that has pierce the veil, black veil brides, and sleeping with sirens pins and I throw it over my shoulder.

When I walk down stairs, my mom is finishing eating and laughing with Lewis. A dark skin man with brown eyes and facial hair who is a really good friend of hers. We took him in after he explained how when he got back from the army, his girlfriend cheated on him and left him taking all his stuff. He was paying for her apartment rentals even though they weren't living together before we took him in. Ever since, Lewis has been a real big help to me and mom. She looks so happy. I never see her like this since dad..

The thought of him depresses me and I clear my throat. "Are you ready to take me to school..?"

"Yeah, yeah! You aren't gonna eat?" She asks putting her to plate in the sink.

"No, I'm not hungry." I partially lie. I'm truly not hungry but I don't want to eat breakfast with mom because dad always loved waking up to her biscuits and gravy and eggs and bacon.

"Oh alright." She says and grabs her purse and keys.

I say bye to Lewis and mom takes me to school.

Every moment I walk into Oakville High School, I know my life changes for 7 hours and I am stripped of my freedom..
