Tord's POV (Short)

I was back at the Rebellion in the present. I appeared in Tom's room. I instantly felt hurt. My anger had instantly subsided. My heart was aching. And I had no one to be here with me. That was until I remembered, I quickly left Tom's room, holding back tears that threatened to escape

Tom's POV (Short)

"Seriously Edd, what is your problem!?" I ask turning to him, everyone was silent during Tord and Edd's fight, just watching "Do I have to tell you again!? He is trying his best Edd! He lost everything! Everyone!! He kept me around because I was all he had left" I said

"And when you took me away, you made him worse. You made him believe he wasn't good enough and he couldn't do as he fucking promised" I said "He took a fucking bullet for me Edd. He was sitting in a hospital bed for a fucking year and only worrying about me!" I said

"So get it through that thick skull of yours, and realize everything he's done and how much he's trying to fucking change!" I yelled at him

Tord's POV

I barged into Soldier's room, not bothering to knock. I ended up scaring the shit outta' him. If I didn't feel like pouring my eyes out, I would've laughed

"Oh Tord! It's just you.. You scared the shit out of me!" Soldier said chuckling softly, his gaze softening as he saw my state "You ok bro?" Soldier asked standing from his bed, concern laced in his voice, I shut his door softly as I let out a quiet sob, the tears finally escaping

Soldier's eyes widen, he hurried over to me pulling me into a warm hug "Hey, hey, it's alright" Soldier comforted rubbing my back softly. I gripped handfuls of the back of his uniform burying my face into his shoulder as I began crying, letting out sobs "It's ok" He whispered softly

After a few minutes of us standing there, as he whispered comforting words to me, calming me down a bit "Let's go over to my bed and take a seat, ok?" Soldier asked pulling away and looking at me

I nodded softly sniffling, Soldier smiled softly and walked me over to his bed as we both took a seat on it. We sat in silence, my sniffling was the only thing heard "You wanna talk about it?" Soldier asked softly as he wiped the tears from my eye

"I-.. I had a f-fight with m-my f-friends.." I said quietly, my voice quivering as more tears built up in my eye

Soldier sighed softly pulling me into a soft embrace "It's going to be alright Tord" Soldier said rubbing my back as more tears found their freedom

I hugged him tightly, squeezing my eyes shut, desperate for some sort of comfort. Soldier might be the only one I've got here. He would never leave me, I know that. And I'm glad for that

"Soldier.. I'm scared..." I whimpered out tightening my grip on his slightly

Tom's POV (Short)

I left without saying anything. I was angry at Edd and I didn't want to see him at the moment. I was now back in the present and inside my room. I was expecting to see Tord there but he wasn't. And my heart shattered for a minute. But I quickly covered up my thoughts with a simple answer

He couldn't have gone. It would take to long..

And with that I left my room

Soldier's POV

I look towards the door as I heard a soft yet frantic knock. I look down at Tord silently asking him if he wants me to go check. Tord nodded softly letting me go. I got up and went over to the door, opening it. Being greeted with a male who wore a different uniform from anyone else

He had some sort of headset on, showing eyes on them. I assume they help him see. I think I saw him around the base a few times, never caught his name tho. Not like I would approach a random person- Just suspected Edd and Matt knew him because I've seen him with them before

"What can I do for you?" I ask

"Uh Soldier right? I'm looking for Red Leader, have you seen him?" He asked

"Uh, sorry but who are you?" I ask

"Name's Tom, I'm To- I mean Red's secretary" Tom said, stumbling over his wordd when he was saying Red "Have you seen him?" He asked again, he honestly seemed slightly panicked

"Uh.." I didn't know what to say, did Tord want him here or did he want to be alone?

"Soldier, who's there?" Tord asked, he was fairly quiet

I glanced behind me "He says his name is Tom" I said

Tord's POV

Hearing Tom's name come out of Soldier's mouth made me perk up

He really came after me..?

"Let him in.." I said wiping my face with my sleeves

Soldier seemed a little reluctant but turned to Tom and said I was in fact here before moving out of the way letting him in. Tom instantly walked into the room, when he saw me he instantly ran over pulling me into a hug

"I'm sorry about Edd" Tom said sitting himself next to me, in a way, he didn't let me go "He doesn't understand everything you've done and how much you're trying" Tom said softly, pulling away from the embrace he had engaged

More tears welded up into my eyes. I felt so scared. I didn't want to lose my friends. And I didn't want to lose Tom. I pulled him into a hug and began crying again. Burying my face into the crook of his neck as I began sobbing. Tom softly wrapped his arms around me "There there, it's alright" Tom said softly

I felt another pair of arms wrap around me. I knew it was Soldier who hugged me. It was only us three in the room anyway, so I didn't care. I just felt so hurt. I just cried
