Mirror

I saw a damsel in distress
An amenable bravery could embellish
Striving hard for the dreams
Multiple attainment satisfies the whims

Gaining her worth in every achievement
Remarkable appreciation is an equivalent
Obliged to succeed
Medal and honor could prove herself indeed

During the banquet of her own success
Tend to feel nothing but worthless
It wasn't a blaze of passion that sparked
But an oblivious castigation of grievance did marked

I gazed at her entirety
She was dressed with exhaustion, despair and  dishonesty
Then a sudden tears brimming in my eyes
To witness the frail woman in such disguise

Something urges me to hug her
To empower her and to keep her warmer
However, the mirror welcomed me with its cold glass steel
I'm ascertained for what's her burden, is my burden to deal.
