Sixteen

When I arrived home, I placed my parchment on my desk carefully and stared at it proudly for coming up with such a great idea.
It was past midnight so I checked all the doors for the last time. I was so tired that I didn't give any second thoughts to my anxiety and dozed off.

Unlike Tae, I had a very beautiful dream. Tae, Hoseok and I were together enjoying the sunset. I don't know where we were but it was beautiful. There were no more secrets, no more fears. Just us, Laughing together, playing together. I wish we could go there again.
But my dream did not stay for long it broke off as the phone underneath my bed rang. I ignored it trying to resume the dream that was gone. At last, I woke up; irritated by the noise.

This was not how I imagined my day without my parents. I bent down and snatched it aggressively. As I picked up and placed it near my ear Hoseok scolded me loudly.

"Why don't you pick up, I called so many times. Do you know how worried I was?"

He is so loud. I was so irritated but I calmed myself, all this time that I have been Hoseok's friend I have learnt that there is no point in arguing with angry Hoseok, he is cool and cheerful but when he is angry he becomes dangerous.

"I was sleeping," I said drowsily "Why are you calling so early?"

"Early! Wake up it's noon" I thought my ears will rip off as he screamed from the other end.

"Why did you call?" I was annoyed, why is he mad at me

He took a deep sigh and said
"Yesterday was my first day at the academy and you didn't even call?"

Oh so that's why he is frustrated, I forgot about it. It's fair to be angry then, I made up an excuse instantly.

"I was about to call you but my aunt is very ill so in all the fuss I forget" It was not a lie after all my aunt was sick.

However, her being sick is giving me a lot of benefits.

There was no response from his side. I thought that he hung up

"Hello, Hoseok?"

"Fine, I am letting you off the hook this time," Hoseok said defeatedly.

"Come over then, we will talk about it alright?" I said conversationally

"Now?" He sounded surprised. This was not the first time I invited him.

"If not now then when?"

"Okay I will be there soon" he hung up

'Why did he sound nervous' I asked myself. Whatever I should wash up, I also have to make breakfast for myself. But first I should check my house. Everything looked normal muggle-like. I shoved some food in Taegi's cage and kept her in my parent's bedroom.
Since we live in a muggle area, our house has been under numerous enchantments, so that whenever a muggle visits us it hides all the magic and turns into a normal house.
Cool right?
All I have to take care of is Taegi. She creates a lot of trouble whenever someone visits and I am the one who is to blame because according to my mom, I am the one because of who Taegi is so annoying and mannerless.

I took a warm shower and when I came out of the bathroom, the doorbell rang.

HOSEOK

The door opened and there stood Grace as always beautiful and moral. Her long hair was wet and the scent of flowers filled my body.
How does she grow more attractive as time passes? I know she doesn't give a damn about how she looks and I don't think that she needs to, she is already so perfect.
