I stared at his bare skin.
My jaw dropped as I admired his undressed beauty.

His shoulders were broad with an impressive collarbone I looked lower at his bare chest and continued with his defined abs. He looked so unreal, like a sculpture. I got goosebumps The child-like Tae I saw before was looking like a man ...... A hot man.

So.......that's the reason my parents won't let me make guy friends only I know how much I struggled to convince them to let Hoseok and me stay friends.

I tilted my head, does Hoseok has such a great body too? Maybe, I fantasised about how would he look. My eyes were still focused on Tae, before I could realize that I am staring at him like a pervert he cleared his throat and hastily covered himself with the towel around his neck which I just noticed.

"Sorry... I just got out of the shower" Tae said apologetically and rushed to cover himself

"You got a nice body" I heard myself say and that was not the best thing to do at the moment, Tae looked at me with wide eyes and I returned the stare.
We looked at each other and then looked away. I shouldn't have said it.

My stare was enough to make him uncomfortable.

I wondered what else this day got for me.

When Tae was dressed in a grey T-shirt he asked

"How come you are early?"

It brought my attention back to the topic that I didn't intend to come here. how exactly I am here

"Did you cry?" He asked warily.

"No ...... Why do you ask?" I lied but he didn't buy it.

"Your nose is red and your eyes too....it looks as if you cried a lot"

Yes, I cried, I cried over my friend calling me girlfriend, I cried because I felt he was toying with my emotions and I cried because I have no one to talk to. My eyes were tearing again, I tried to hold them back but stopped when Tae put his hand on my shoulder and said calmly.

"Tell me" he settled me on his beautiful white sofa

It only took him two words to show me that I have him
I can tell him everything
I can trust him with my feelings
I let my heart out, I told him everything and he sat there,  listened to me sob my problems out

".............I felt so bad when he called me his girlfriend *sob* I felt *sob* a little used...*sob*...."

"Grace?" He said after a few minutes,  I looked up into his eyes "Do you feel USED because he tried to help you?"

"What ... do you mean help me"

"Don't you realize who is hurt here?"

"What are you trying to say?"

"Hoseok was just trying to help you when he called you his girlfriend, I would have done the same"

I still don't  get it

"Look"  Tae began firmly, I listened closely "you were uncomfortable with that dude asking for your number, Hoseok just tried to give him a hint that you are taken so that he won't bother you"

"But he could have just called me his friend"

"No, who knows maybe that guy still asked for your number and continued to bother you, it was not such a big deal to cry over"

Now I see...... I am so stupid how can I insult him even when Hoseok was just trying to help? My heart felt heavy as I realized how rude I was.

Why am I so dumb, why do I let my feelings control me !?

"It was not your fault ..... if it was your first date then it's understandable" he eyed me suspiciously.

No, I can't let my uncertainty take over him

"Date hahah...no it was not a date just a .............. a hangout" I hate the word DATE now.

"Not even for Hoseok " he came closer and narrowed his eyes.

"No it was just a hangout," I said with a forced smile hiding my guilt

"Okay, then I take your word for it" Well that was easy.

I got up ..... I better go back and clear things up with Hoseok.

I promised myself to always hear his side of the story before making decisions.

"Where are you heading to?"  Tae asked

"I wanna apologise to him" I don't know how but it's my mistake and I am gonna solve this.

"Oh! Not so fast Grace" he grabbed my wrist and yanked me towards him and slowly whispered "You might not have a date with him but You have one with me"
