Park? It must be something important, I better run its quite far.
"Mom I am going to meet Hoseok" I informed her. I can tell that she is still angry by the bitter look on her face.
"What about dinner?"
"I will eat later", I said and left the house I was so exhausted and hungry I wish I could do magic here, it's so convenient. I ran as fast as my body allowed. When I reached the park Hoseok was already there, apparently waiting for me.
Before I could say anything he came running towards me and lifted me in a hug. It was unexpected; we don't do hugs.
"Hoseok what happened," I asked while being in his arms.
"I am so happy Grace, SO SO SO HAPPY," he said cheerfully his eyes glowing. I have never seen him so happy
"What happened ?" I was so flustered "First put me down" I added
"Ah sorry, I was just so excited" He put me back on the ground "Grace I made it, I passed" he said in high spirits.
"Passed what?" I had no clue what he was talking about
"I passed the audition for BIGHIT dance academy"
"What! Seriously" I clapped my hands on my mouth.
"I know right? I couldn't believe it either They were so impressed" This was huge news We both started jumping in celebration
"It is like a dream come true. Soon I will be going to the best dance academy in the country. What a great day" Hoseok said
After a few moments of the detailed description of Hoseok's audition experience. We were sitting on swings which made creeping noises. It was a windy night and the sky was full of beautiful pearly stars.
We both were really happy I know how hard he tried to get this far, I have seen him covered in muscle patches. He never gave up after all the struggles and injuries that he had from dancing. He was always drenched in sweat from practising I was proud of him. After a few moments of looking at the stars, he said
"Where were you? You know I ran to your house to tell you this but you weren't there" he looked disheartened.
"I was just gone for a walk" I lied and avoided eye contact.
Hoseok just nodded and I suddenly had the curiosity to ask him
"Hoseok do you know a singer that goes by the V? People say he is quite famous"
He looked at me in amazement
"Grace when will you start being like a normal teenager? I told you last time, it was his song that I auditioned on"
Hoseok isn't wrong, I never showed any interest in songs or movies and all the stuff that others of my age do.
"Which song?" I shamelessly asked, I paid no attention the last time he mentioned it.
"I knew you wouldn't remember, it's one of his best songs Singularity. You should show interest in this stuff. Anyway did you have dinner?"
"No"
"Then come to my place. Mom made Bulgogi for a little celebration I know you like it" he said playfully
"What about my mom? She doesn't know" It's good for me to be cautious.
"Stop being a whiner I will inform her on the phone" And we left for his house
TAEHYUNG
I cancelled my schedule for today She told me not to call her and I didn't but I was afraid that she might forget.
I gave all the servants a day off but she didn't turn up The whole day was passing, and I felt like I was being stood up. I was staring at my phone screen in the hope that she will call any minute but time seemed to be frozen and she didn't call me at all.
