He spared a glance at his expensive wristwatch that he got as a reward for the best employee before speaking
"10:36 PM, You are more than late" His fierce voice made Grace tremble in fear, she know that she messed up big time "May I know where were you?"
Grace's heartbeat fasten, panic made her mind go blank. She had no excuses to cover this up.
She anxiously looked at the door; hoping for her mom to help her.
"Your mom won't come, I forbid her to help you like she always does. You have not answered yet" What to do? Grace was helpless "Ahhh I thought you look different today. So you are wearing the dress I got you. Pity you never wore it before and now that you do, I don't find any pleasure in it after all it is for a BOY"
'Mom told him, she told him everything. Well, what else did I expect? She just played the role of 'Good wife'.
I have always been alone either in school or at home, I am stronger. I am an adult. I can go anywhere I want, it's my life. She doesn't need to answer him' Grace determined herself
"DA-" she begin but fell silent when she saw that his father was holding a paper, a sense of dread filled her body when she saw her parchment in her father's hand; scrambled badly.

What is he talking about ?!
"What do you mean?" Grace asked firmly; she was so scared but she didn't let it show on her face.
"Hahahahah I don't get how you still don't know. I thought you were wise enough. Guess I am wrong"
"WHAT DO YOU MEAN" Grace yelled at him for the first time, she was angry more than ever, she was trembling again but this time in anger.
His every word felt like a threat to Hoseok and that parchment in his hand showed his anger for her friends.
No profit in hiding the truth now. She isn't scared anymore, she will protect her friends at any cost. SHE WILL!!
Ji Hoon's eyes widened as he heard her daughter yell at him, this was not how he raised her "You are forgetting your manners . Should I teach you" he rolled up the sleeves of his shirt.
Grace tried to look at the paper if it was really her parchment but it was rolled so badly that she couldn't identify it.
"What do I mean you ask! I mean that even if I am not around, my eyes are everywhere to capture your actions"
Huh?
"Don't give me that confused look, DO YOU THINK I CAN TRUST YOU WITH WHAT YOU DID LAST TIME" He screamed at her and she lost her balance, he stood up and walked over to her ."Why? Are you scared now ?"
There was an urgent knock on the door "What is happening? JI HOON let me in" Grace's mom had a afraid note in her voice, she doesn't trust his husband with anger. The scars on her back are the proof.
"Why do you think I let you be friends with that muggle" he ignored Doyoon " I pity you that's why, it's your mother who pleaded for you to let you have one friend. Do you think your tantrums worked ..... I am not a foolish father who let his family hold him back"
Lies, her life is lies. She thought they love her but it was also a LIE.
"I am coming in," Doyoon said and broke her way through magic, the first thing she saw as she entered was his angry husband standing over her daughter's fallen body.
She grabbed him by the arm "That's enough, you are scaring her I will talk to her"
"No need" he wrenched his arm free from Doyoon's grip "I already taught her - her place"
He left
"Stand up" Doyoon helped Grace back to her feet "Don't take his words personally you know he is doing all this out of ........love.
