All About Mia

Chapter ten

Mia's POV:

"Shh! She will hear us. Get out, I will wake her up"

"You shh! And no I'll do it!"

Mm... those voices sound familiar. Oh my god, who is in my room? Wait Mia just keep pretending to be asleep.

"I'll wake her up" I think that's Jackson's voice.

"No, she doesn't like you." Chace?

Wait. What am I wearing? Oh god!

I jumped up and they both moved quickly to my side. Once they saw what I was wearing their eyes widened. I quickly covered myself with the blanket and yelled "Well don't just stand there! Get out!"

They both nodded and left the room. I sighed and sunk back into my bed. What a great way to start the day. I got up and put some trackies on and a tight top that showed the top half of my curves. I freshened up in the bathroom and added curls to my hair. I didn't always like putting makeup on, only some powder and mascara.

I went downstairs and saw the guys in the lounge room. I walked past them and just said "hey" I got a few nods in response. I walked to the kitchen and saw my mum.

"Hey mum."

"Hey sweetie, have a good sleep?" she said in a cheery voice.

"Well your happy aren't you? And yeah my sleep was umm... fine."

"Yeah, Brent is taking me out on a date tonight."

"Aw that's sweet."

She smiled and said "Here take this." She handed me a card "Brent and I made an account for you and we put you money on there. Buy whatever you want okay?"

I stood there shocked. "Mum are you serious?"

"Yep. I am. So go out and enjoy yourself. Its time you start having fun."

I hugged her tightly and whispered "thank you."

I walked to the lounge room and said "you guys ready to go?"

They all got up and Brodie said "Yeah, we will only take two cars."

I nodded and said "Well I'm with you."

"Okay who else is riding with me?"

Jackson and Chace both agreed. "Alright so that leaves Dan and Brian, you guys can ride together."

They nodded and we all headed out.

We went to the mall and it was huge! Everything looked so appealing and bright, I finally felt happy. I walked into all different kinds of shops and bought jeans, jackets, tops, dresses and shoes. Then when my eyes landed on a sports shop my mouth dropped. Oh. My. God. This place is heaven. The guys cheered once they saw me walk to it.

Brodie stopped me and said "Mia, you know that's a guy's shop?"

"Well of course I know. I left all my rugby magazines and posters at the old house."

"How much do you love rugby?" asked Jackson.

"Um a lot?" I said confused.

"How would you like to join the team?" he said with a grin on his face. My heart melted. Snap out of it. What did he just say?

"U-uh you want me to join the team? Like play with you guys?" I said slightly stuttering.

"Yes" he said.

"That's awesome Mia, I always told you to join the team." Said Brodie.

"But- I" I couldn't speak.

"Mia, if anyone gives you shit. I've got your back." Said Brodie.

"Yea same here" said Brian.

"I'm with you as well." Said Chace.

"And no one will dare to hurt you or say anything as long as I'm around" said Jackson in a confident tone.

I couldn't help but grin "Alright deal."

"Yeah!" the guys cheered.

I guess they really needed another player.
