“You can’t hide forever Luce! You have to come out sometime!” Yelled Chace whilst laughing.

I stayed hiding behind the open door and I did my best not to giggle.

I’m guessing you want to know what happened right?

Well Chace and I were baking cookies; actually it was me baking them and Chace just watching me. I then threw flour at him and ran to the first door that was unlocked upstairs.

And here I am, standing behind an open door to someone’s bedroom.

My heart rate picked up when I heard someone at the door.

I thought I was caught for sure but then the person walked in and shut the door not bothering to look behind him. His back was facing me, I knew it wasn’t Chace but I had no idea who it was.

I slowly stepped towards the door to get out before he saw me but when I reached the door knob the floor creaked.

The person quickly jumped up and yelled “Shit!”

“Oh- um, I’m sorry!” I quickly said.

His face softened when he saw who I was and then that’s when I realised who he was.

“Hello there, I’m Steven.” He said a grin creeping to his face.

“Um I’m Lucy but everyone calls me Luce.” I said nicely.

His face darkened a bit after I said my name and I couldn’t quite catch what emotion that was but it was gone too quick before I had a chance to understand it, instead a smirk creeped up on his face.

He crossed his arms across his chest and I couldn’t help but notice how extremely buff he was. It wasn’t the disgusting steroid looking buff. It was the type of buff that said ‘I’m hot and I can take you on with my pinkie without even breaking a sweat.’

When I looked up at his face he was smirking “Like what you see?”

I rolled my eyes and said “Oh sweetie please don’t make me laugh” I couldnt let him know how hot he was.

He stepped closer to me and said “So you’re my little bothers girl huh?”

Wait… his little brother? But Chace never told me he had a brother and every time I came over I never saw him here.

“His brother?” I asked raising an eyebrow.

“Yeah, he doesn’t talk about me too much, mainly because he blames me for our mother’s death.” He said in an emotionless tone.
