Hey! So, I've become addicted to One Direction now... I just couldn't help myself, so I wrote this. Zayn is my favorite, so viola, a Zayn Fanfiction! The song on the side is "Over Again" from their new album, "Take Me Home". It's pretty much the theme song of this story. Sorta... You'll find out :) SO READ ON!!!

Kenzie Montgomery pulled her car into the dance studio carpark, and pulled the key out of the ignition. She groaned as she got out of her small Vauxhall, her muscles stiff and sore from the particularly cruel warm-ups her teacher had forced upon her the day before. She snatched her small dance bag, and made her way to the front entrance. She noticed a large sign posted on the glass window in the front, and quickened her pace, curious. There was never anything posted on the window. As she grew closer, she was able to make out the first, bolded line.

ONE DIRECTION IS LOOKING FOR BACKUP DANCERS

Her eyes widened, and she jogged over to read the rest.

Zayn Malik, Niall Horan, Liam Payne, Louis Tomlinson, and Harry Styles have announced that they are looking for backup dancers for their concerts and tours. They are looking for 5 dancers; a partner for each singer, and are having auditions on the 27 of April, 2012. They have invited one dancer from every studio in the UK who is interested to try out. Kenzie couldn't deny that it would be great to be a partner with one of the most famous boys her age. She decided she would look into it, and stepped inside, only to be tackled by a ball of energy. All air was forced out of her lungs as two strong, tan arms squeezed her torso, squealing.

"OhmyGod,OhmyGod,OhmyGOD! Didyousee?! ONEDIRECTIONISLOOKINGFORDANCERS! We're dancers! WECOULDBEPARTNERSWITHONEDIRECTION! OHMYGOD!" Kenzie laughed and tried to peel her excitable friend off of her.

“Yeah, Triniti. It's possible. But we need to check up on the rules. I'm sure Mrs. Brandi will tell us all the rules and regulations next hour. Calm down." she patted Triniti's shoulder, but the teenager was still hyperventilating. She grinned madly and darted off, probably to tweet about it or something similar. Kenzie sighed, grabbed her pointe shoes, and took one of the two bathrooms that everyone was always scrambling for. She quickly changed into a black leotard, pale pink tights, and pulled her hair into a tight bun. She darted back out and entered the studio's biggest room, where her pointe class was congregating and chatting about the news. She ignored the glances and pointed glares as she laced up her ribbons and warmed up her feet. A loud voice pierced the din, and a red haired woman clapped her hands.

"Hey! All of you, shut your mouths. I've got news." Squeals of excitements and fangirl joy echoed her statement, and Kenzie sat there, attentive and reserved.

"As you probably know by now, the One Direction is looking for background dancers. They want the best they can find, and are being very picky. First off, they're extending the invitation to all dance studios in the UK. So there'll be a lot of competition. They are also, for obvious reasons, only allowing one dancer per studio to enter the actual auditions. So, in preparation for that audition, we will be holding one of our own to see who will be representing Grennock's Studio of Dance. Our audition will be this coming Sunday at 10am. Be on time in a leotard, tights, ballet shoes, and optional black shorts. Got it? No exceptions for dress code. You will be scored by judges on technique, stage presence, capability, and ability to learn quickly. You will learn a short contemporary, hip hop, and jazz number. You will perform and be scored. Whoever has the highest score will be able to go to the actual audition. Yes? Yes. Now, go to barre!" With that, class began, and Kenzie couldn't help but think how wonderful it would be to be partnered with one of the boys.
