"Courtship?" I say worriedly. "Do you have any other way?" He questioned.

That's true, I couldn't process anything at the moment so I had to accede.

"All right, let's do this" I concur not knowing what new trouble could come along the way.

"So we can meet few days a week, just to show that this relationship is progressing" he explains. "Okay" I irritatedly agree. "If it's all good Let's go baby girl." He teases. "Oh please don't call me that" I snap.

I could see the closeness between Taewon and Y/N I didn't want them to get close why? when things would end in a year also I warned her about keeping distance from other men due to the media.

They keep publishing every bit of our lives, everything they can make a big deal out of I have no interest in her 😕 well just saying.

While we had our little walk, Taewon jumps back to Y/N, he just buzzes like a bee around her what's gotten into this guy?

"Heyy Y/N" Taewon tries to act cute. "Oh..Hey" she answers. "What is it?" I ask not wanting to hear any nonsensical talks of his. "What's with you Hyung😒 well mom..."

"We'll be there in 5, now please can you, we're in the middle of something"I cut Taewon off saying this.

"Oooooo" he says teasingly and runs out. Dirty mind🙄

We finish our conversation and head towards the living room where our family is seated. Y/N walks along with a tensed expression plastered all over her face. "Could you put on a happy face?" I say to her with an annoyed look.

"Can't you just..." She was about to say when I passed her 🤐 action. "Jerk!" She cursed, "I heard that, honey" I whispered, as I slowly entangled my fingers with her's

"It was meant for you to hear, Sweety" she sneers. Y/N's fiesty replies entices me to hear more of her😂. You have a year for that Taehyung now just focus and get ready to put up a good show.

"So how was it?" Dad questions looking at us approach. "Fine... I guess" I answer looking at Y/N while she nods faking a smile. "That's great" Y/N's father speaks looking at us. "So then about the wedding..." My mother was about to start while I cut her words.

"I have to say something here..." I say hoping to convince them in one go😣 "What is it?" My mother questions with worry plastered all over her face. Oh dear look at my mother, she looks like she has already planned the name of her future grandchildren🤦‍♂️.

"Mom, Dad.... According to you Y/N is a perfect match for me... but how do I know that she's the one? Just spending an hour with her can't guarantee life long happiness together... Right?" I explain my side simultaneously trying to read everyone's expressions.

"Right" Mrs. Park agrees. Well Y/N seems distant from her mother, while she didn't interact much either.  "So what are you trying to say?" My mom interrupts my thoughts sounding more curious than worried.

"I want to get to know Y/N better... so....we've decided.... to have courtship before marriage" I speak finally breaking the news.

"Y/N agreed to that😲?" Mr. Park questioned sounding astonished. "Yes" I nod.

"Mr Kim, what do you think?" Mr Park asks for my father's thoughts making me anxious. "We'll as long as they agree to marry" he says laughing.

I look at Y/N with a victory smile while she had a relieved look on her face. "Thank you" she whispered standing next to me along with a genuine smile.

"Yay! Y/N, you're family now we could meet everyday from now on" Taewon speaks while rushing towards smiling Y/N and hugs her.

"Not everyday..." I pull Taewon from Y/N's embrace. "Why not?" he asks pouting like a child earning a chuckle from Y/N.

"Mmm....hmm she's returned home after a very long time, she must have places to visit, people to catch up with, she has her own space...and of course I'll meet her too..." I say placing an arm around his shoulder. Too much explaining already😐.

"Ohhhh...but we can go out sometimes just the three of us?" he suggests looking at me and I look at Y/N not knowing what to say. "Yes...of course" she nods.

"Very well then... we'll take your leave, Mr Kim" Y/N's father says. "See you soon... And Y/N feel free to come over anytime" my father says to Y/N and she nods.

"Bye dear" my mother hugs Y/N "can't wait for this one month to pass by" she says breaking the hug, "yeah me too" y/n says hesitantly.

"Y/N, I'll call you later ok" Taewon says holding Y/N's fingers. "Sure" she replies to him with a broad smile.

"You got her number?" I asked surprised. "Yes" he nods cheekily Woah that's fast 😮

"Hyung, don't you want to say anything to Y/N?" Taewon smirks looks at me. "Huh? Yeah of course" I say in a confused state of mind.

I walk towards her
