Taehyung
It's been a week after my date with Y/N. Aish that night🤦♂️ was difficult. Initially Y/N was adamant on going home alone but eventually she agreed on the condition that, the ride would be silent i.e. without any questions.
I promptly agreed, after all safety comes first.
After that night we haven't exchanged a word. I text her, she reads but no reply🤷♂️ I visited her place twice but she had errands to run and wasn't at home palpably she's ignoring me.
I understand she's avoding me on purpose, she's probably awkward after that night.
Speaking of awkward even Jungkook's ignoring me. Last week when I met him he just got away with an excuse of a call to make, what's going on, can someone explain? Aish I'm going crazy thinking about it. I throw the file on my desk and hear a knock.
"Come in"
"Hyung" Taewon rushes in.
"God not now, Taewon please go, I'm busy at the moment" I irritatedly say.
"Hyung please help me, I can't understand, these figures are confusing me, Aish it's only a week I've joined and already need a break" he whines taking the chair opposite me.
"I know" I agree massaging my temples. Just then...
"Yes break....An Outing...that's great" I jump from my chair.
"How about we go for an outing, Taewon?" I suggest walking towards him.
"Really, count me in... I genuinely need a break from all this 😩 ...but these files... and dad?" he points to the pile of files.
"I'll take of everything, you just have one work of inviting Y/N, will you be able to do that?" I pretend not to believe in him.
"Of course, Y/N will never say no to me😏" he pulls out his phone.
"Yah" I flick his forehead.
"How many times have I told you to call Y/N 'noona' ?" I correct him.
"Wha..In your dreams Kim Taehyung 😒🙄....."
"You...."
"Shush! The bell is going" he puts the call on speaker.
"Yah! Don't shush me..." I say irritated
Taewon glares at me with a 🤐 action.
"Fine 😒" only because I need a favour,
"🤫" Taewon signs looking at me.
"Hello....." She answers after three rings.
"Hey Y/N, how are you? Where have you been? Wait...I'm not disturbing you, right?"
"...." No answer.
I glare at Taewon "If you keep on blabbering how will she answer? atleast give her a chance to speak" I whisper flicking his forehead.
"Oww, yah Hyung, I'm not a kid...." he argues back stroking his forehead.
"Hello...Taewon....? Hello are you there" Y/N speaks after few moments.
"Yeah, Y/N I can hear you"
"Sorry actually I was on a con call... well how are you and all at home?" So considerate 😒 am I included in all now?
"Answer" I smack Taewon's arm.
"Ya..yeah all good" he answers gives me what next to speak expressions 🤦♂️
"Outing..." I whisper and Taewon nods remembering his lines.
"Hmm so?" Y/N speaks sounding clueless.
"Y/N....well... I had something to ask..."
"Yes... I'm listening...go ahead" she speaks while sounds of paper flipping could be heard.
"Y/N, actually we were planning for an Outing. Why don't you join us?" Taewon finally speaks to the point.
"An Outing?" She says sounding surprised.
"Umm...Actually the thing is..." Looks like she'll clearly refuse.
"Y/N... I'm not taking no for an answer... you're coming and that's final... you'll join us right?..." Taewon asks with 🤞
"...." No response. Ok now the silence is worrying me.
"Who all will be coming?" She promptly questions.
"Ummm..?" Taewon gives me what to say look.
I point towards our family picture on my desk.
"Family only....No outsiders"
"All right..text me where and when" she sighs.
"Yay Y/N agreed, Hyung" my foolish brother yells. Why did I even ask for his help.
"Wha..Hyu.. Taewon is Taehyung around?" Y/N's voice filled with doubt, while Taewon jumps in panic.
"No...No.... As soon as you agreed to tag along, Hyung entered the conference room...so I out of excitement I told him"
"Oh" she sounds convinced. Oh boy, that was such a task I pull a chair to sit and grab the bottle of water.
"Y/N...wanna talk to Hyung?" He shockingly questioned her winking at me, causing me to spit out all the water.
"No No Taewon no" she spoke revolting.
"Just hold on... Hyung catch" he motions and throws his phone towards me resulting in a well timed catch and walks out smirking.
Aish, this brat....
"Such a ..." I realize Y/N hasn't disconnected yet, I suppose she didn't want to talk?
"Y/N..." The call gets disconnected No she disconnected the call! I toss the phone on the table, rage taking over me.
Let me see how long will you continue this game of hide and seek, Y/N....
