After Y/N and her family had visited, Mom couldn't hold admiring how well-mannered, adorable, kind and what not Y/N is along with Taewon humming in agreement.
Having too much of Y/N talks for the day 🤦♂️ especially in that environment, I decide to walk out of that conversation.
I walk up to my room, take a long shower and change into sweatpants and a thin T-Shirt then getting hold of my laptop from my study table I walk towards the bed.
Switching it on the first screen that appears to me is a picture of Lisa and me.
Oh Lisa😞 how I miss us thinking of her my phone chimes continuously. Wondering who is it, I place the laptop besides me. There were several chats but my finger involuntarily tapped on one name Lisa.
Heyy baby was thinking about you and couldn't stop myself from texting. Hope you're doing good. I miss you. Could we talk later ?

Lisa was never the texting type of person. But this made me happy, she missed me and now I can't wait to call back.
No sooner I began typing, than I heard a knock on the door. "Yeah" I said and continued typing not bothering to look at who entered.
"Taehyung, are you still with her?" My mother almost cried looking at the laptop screen.
"Oh my god...no" I shut the laptop. "What's up with you, Mom?" An irritated tone leaves my throat.
"Watch your tone, son!" She shoots back. "Are you still in touch with her?" She speaks as her expressions turn angry.
"No... But what's wrong with being friends" I yell. "Everything is wrong with being friends...just look at you...... your arguing with your mother for a girl like her"
"I love Lisa, Mom" I sigh, nearly giving up on this argument.
"Tae... sweetheart she isn't the one, she will never keep you happy, she's after your money understand that...ok first hear me out and then tell me... if she really loves you why isn't she fighting for her love, how can she see you to marry someone?"
"Mom....please" I couldn't hear anything against Lisa.
"You have to accept that your marrying Y/N, and I will never stand by you if you dare hurt her. That girl has gone through a lot and Kim Taehyung if you hurt her, you'll have it from me."
"What has she done? Why is everyone in her favour?" I say unbelievably.
"You need to open your eyes to see that" she says sighing.
"A year won't make much of a difference" I say plainly.
"You will fall in love with her by the end of this contract" she says giving me a challenging look.
"Yeah you wish🙄" I scoff.
"Just be kind to her, don't give a tough time" she says and leaves my room.
I feel so messed up right now. My phone chimes displaying Lisa. Aish baby I decline the call I'm sorry.
