Sage forced herself to leave without bidding goodbye to Yuuki and Addy but she didn't want to leave them hanging so she wrote them letters. She put her letter for Addy on the table and she slid her letter for Yuuki under her door. 5 am in the morning, she called on Infires to start walking their way to the Green woods. She put one bullet in her pistol without double thinking. She let out a sigh and looked back at their house one last time before turning her heels away and left quietly."Come on Infires. I don't want Addy or Yuuki seeing me leave." Sage told her Wolf-Raven hybrid who bent down to let her ride on his back. Sage climbed up and gently patted his neck so that they can get started. "I may not live to see the world become peaceful again, but I do remember that this world was once wonderful." She told herself and bit her lip before pulling the hood of her jacket over her head. Infires flapped his wings and quickly ascended to the still dark sky. The cool morning wind made Sage shiver. She doesn't want to think about Yuuki or Addy. She didn't want this to be harder for herself. Shaking her thoughts off, she buried her face deep on Infires' black fur. Tears threatened to slip down her eyes but she stopped them before they can even blur her vision.
After a while, they arrived on the green woods, walking towards the cliff and waiting for the third superior of Demetron. While sitting down, she stared at the view below her. It was beautiful. Trees, birds, zombies roaming around broke it. If they do beat Demetron, will the world be able to go back to it's normal state? Back to where there's none of this? She let out a sigh and took her pistol, examining it with shaking hands.
"I was told that if you were to go in a duel, you better wait while standing up. I could've shot you there right now."
Sage chuckled bitterly. She looked at the view one more time before standing up again and facing Frisk who was staring at her with dark eyes. Silence covered them both. Nothing but the trees and wind made noises. They turned around, their backs facing each other. Sage started counting in her head.
Not until something flashed right before her eyes.

-Flashback-
"Mr. Alford, it really is a pleasure to work with you." Mr. Velasco shaked the hand of the tall dark haired man in front of him. Mr. Alford smiled and nodded. He looked at Sage who was hiding behind her father's leg. "Your daughter I suppose?" He bent down and looked at Sage who just whimpered. He smiled at her warmly. "I have a son, would you like to play with him?" Sage's head perked up when she heard the word play.
Mr. Alford called on a name that Sage was sure she couldn't pronounce. Then after that, the door opened, revealing a brown haired boy wearing a simple polo shirt and pants. He went towards his dad and held his hand. "Frisk, I want you to meet Sage." Frisk looked at the scared girl then back at his father. Mr. Alford nudged him to go take her outside to play. Frisk looked at Sage and smiled at her. He reached out a hand for her to take. Sage looked at it nervously. She hesitantly took it and let the boy lead her towards the hallway. They stopped in front of the door as Frisk looked at her with gentle eyes. "My name is Frisk. What's yours?" Sage fiddled with her fingers and looked down shyly. "S-Sage."
Frisk's mouth shaped an 'o' while nodding. "Sage. Your name sounds cool." Frisk ruffled her hair which made Sage grunt in annoyance. She glared at him but he just laughed and stuck out a tongue at her playfully.
-end of flashback-
Sage could feel her tears down her cheeks. Time slowed down. She looked at the back facing her. She then looked back at her pistol and bit her lip.
