The White Dress I Wore...

Kai?

Harmony has been crying, sobbing, and watching Netflix in her dorm all day. She picked up her phone from the bed-side table and checked the time.

(11:54 PM)

Harmony annoyingly dragged herself to the bathroom and proceeded to shower and brush her teeth to go to bed. As she finished washing her face after brushing her teeth, she heard her phone ring and walked out to see who called. 

She looked at the phone on the bed-side table and saw the name, (Mark/Husband❤). Harmony continued to ignore the caller as she did for the whole day already. She walked back to the bathroom but her phone rang again. Annoyed, she decided to not even check for who it was. 

5 minutes past and Harmony has finally finished brushing her hair, doing last minute things before bed, and sat down on her bed exhausted.

Her thoughts started erupting. She wanted to forget what happened for a few hours and did just that while watching Netflix because she just wanted a break of life. She felt her heart emotionally break and shatter unexpectedly again for the second time today at the slight thought of that stormy night.

Past-

Madeline snuggled on the couch with her blanket as thunder roared outside the apartment she and Taeyong shared as a couple. The door suddenly opened with a jerk and she looked up, glad that Taeyong was finally home, happiness spread all over her face. "TAEYONGIEE!!! I'am so glad your hom-" "Lets break-up..." taeyong said. That was when Madeline felt her heart shatter into so many pieces. "Yah, Taeyong, is this a prank??" she put a cover smile over her hurt expression hoping that the words that left his mouth was not true to his heart. She ran up to him and tried to wrap her hand around him, but he jolted her arms away. "Your so clingy an annoying, I'am not your boyfriend anymore." Then, he rushed to his bedroom and started packing his stuff. 

It all made since now, why his bedroom had such little stuff since this morning, how he didn't come back to the apartment for lunch or dinner for about a few weeks now, how he became cold to her. It all made since, and that alone made her heart hurt more than it already was. Madeline dropped to the floor,  crying nonstop. Taeyong finally finished packing and walked out the door with his backpack. "It was easy for him to do that, but its so hard for me now." she thought to herself. She decided to call some of the NCT members over as it was a Saturday night and not all of them were practicing dancing, vocals, ect.

"So he did that, huh..." Jisung replied after Madeline explained everything. The room was awkwardly silent at this point surprisingly, even though the apartment was now cramped with 16 people including Madeline. "This is just sad. Yah, wanna get ice-cream together tomorrow at 3:00 pm? I don't have any extra classes." Johnny stated. She just nodded, being still in just shock about what just happened. Everyone started trying to make a conversation here and there but she remained silent for the remainder of the night.   

Present-

Harmony curled into a ball under her blankets and cried. She cried as hard as the time Taeyong broke-up with her. Her breathing was unstable and she was a crying mess at this point. 

Dorm next door-

"Yah, Hyung Soobin, do you hear that?" The boys stopped what they were doing and listened carefully. To everyone's surprise, Yeonjun was right. They all heard heavy crying from next door. "Is Madeline crying?" Beomgyu questioned. "I'll go check on her." And with that, Huening Kai stood up from the couch, and walked out of the dorm.

*Knock Knock*

Harmony was surprised that someone knocked on the door since she never really hung out with anyone else other than NCT members. And so, she walked up to the door and opened it. To her surprise, it was one of the member of TXT, they live next door. "I'am so sorry if my crying was really loud, I will stop crying, my mind is just everywhere at this poi-" "It's fine, I was just trying to check on you since we heard you crying." he interrupted. Kai looked surprisingly worried about Harmony. "If you need someone to talk to, you can come over and talk to us." And with that, Kai walked back to his dorm. 

Harmony shut the door and went back to her bed with her phone. She went into the phone app and was getting ready to call Chenle when she noticed something, not all of the calls were from Mark, one was from Taeyong... He hasn't called her for years, she guessed maybe he was messing around with her again. Harmony tried not to cry at the thought of that and placed her phone on the table, surrendering herself to the silent night.
