⚠️Chapter 1- She's Gone

Betty POV

"Another girl got kidnapped last night" My mommy says. She's in the living room.

"I'm scared I don't wanna get taken away from my family" I say and put my empty cereal bowl into the sink.

"You aren't gonna get kidnapped baby. We have people watching you always." My daddy says and kisses my forehead.

"And they are only going after teen girls." Mommy says.

"So like Polly? I don't want polly to get taken away either!" I say and hug Polly tightly. She pushes me away.

"I'd wish they take you away so you can leave me alone" Polly says and sits at the counter. Polly is 14 years old so she's thinks she can't play with a 9 year old.

"Pauline Cooper! Don't say that about your sister!" My mommy yells at her.

"Well that's how I feel about her!" She yells. I was about to say some when my daddy tugged one of my pigtails gently, so I could look up at him.

"Don't say anything" he whispers and kisses my nose and I giggle. Then I hear a horn.

"That must be Fp and Jughead, Betty" Mommy says.

My daddy hugs me. "Bye have a good day at school. I love you" he smiles.

"Love you too" I walk over to my mom and she kisses me all over my face.

"Mommy!" I giggle.

"I love you. You're dad is gonna pick you up from school today. Make sure to take your jacket" mommy says.

"Okay love you too bye" I smile. I run to the door. I grab my bag and my jacket and walk out the door. I see Fp's car and I run to it.

"Good morning Betty" Fp says when I get into the car.

"Good morning" I smile. I close the door and put my seatbelt on.

"Hi Betty" Juggie smiles.

"Hi Jug" I say.

"You guys ready for school" Fp says.

"No" "Yes!" Me and Jughead say at the same time.

"Why not?" I ask Jug.

"I don't like how Chuck and Reggie pick on me." He says.

"Next time they do, call me and I'll deal with them" I smile.

"What are you gonna do they are way taller than you Betty" Jughead says.

"I punched Reggie once I'm not afraid to do it again" I say.

"No betty your mom said no more punching boys" Fp says.

"Fp," I whine "You're supposed to be the cool parent" I say and he chuckles.

"Well we are here. I'll see you later guys" Fp smiles and parks.

"Okay bye" I smile.

"Bye Daddy" Jughead says and we walk into the school.

I'm sitting outside the school with Mrs. Leopard. My Daddy called and said that he was running late so I have to wait for him to come.

"Elizabeth I'm gonna use the rest room real quick do not move from this spot okay" she says and I nod.

I'm sitting down wait for my daddy to come. When I hear yelling.

"Comet! Comet! Here boy!" I see a man with blonde hair running. He stops and looks at me then He jogs over.

"Hey did you see a dog with brown hair run past?" He asks.

"My mommy says not to talk to strangers" I say.

"Well my name is Chic see we aren't strangers. So have you seen my dog?" He asks.

"That doesn't mean we aren't strangers" I say.

"Look kid have you seen him or not" he says.

"No I didn't see your dog" I say.

"Can you help me look over there. I think he might be there but I'm too big to see if he's there or not" he says. I look at him. He doesn't look like a bad person.

"Okay but I have to be here before my teacher comes back" I say and he nods. I stand up and we walk for a little.

"Where is the spot?" I ask him after a little.

"Shut up" he says and then I realize maybe this was a bad idea.

"Where the hell is he" he says as we are in a little alley between the school and another building. I see a van pull up and another guy gets out they look angry.

The guy named chic grabs both of my arms.

"Hey get off me!" I yell as I realize that they are taking me away.

"Shut the fuck up!" He yells and covers my mouth. I start screaming and kicking. The other guy grabs my legs but I get them lose and kick the guy. He then hits me and I black out.

Jughead POV

"Daddy can Betty come over tomorrow? You promised that she could come over today but you were busy." I say

"Yeah sure Jug she can come over tomorrow" my dad says and I smile.

"Thank you" I say and take a piece of chicken off his plate.

"You little shi-" my dad starts to say when someone starts banging on the door.

"Dad, who is that?" I ask getting scared.

"It's probably nothing Jug calm down. She isn't here she can't get you." my dad says and opens the door to Mrs. Cooper.

"Alice what's wrong?" He asks and hugs her.

"They got her. She's gone" Alice sobs.

"Who's gone Al" he asks.

"Betty They got my baby" she sobs.

"Betty's Gone" I say, getting tears in my eyes and Jellybean starts crying from the other room.

"Jughead go check on Jelly okay" my dad says and go to Jellybeans room. I see her standing at her crib crying.

"Hey Jelly" I say and close the door.

"For" she cries and I pick her up out of her crib. She calls me For which is short for Forsythe my real name.

"Dada" she cries and points to the door. I give her her pacifier and she puts it in her mouth. I wipe her tears off her cheeks.

"Daddy's busy but do you wanna play" I say and sit her up on the floor. I grab two stuffed animals and sit down in front of her. She grabs the stuffed bear and holds it to her chest.
