"Irwin. Like Steve Irwin?" Luke laughed to himself.

"I'm pretty sure they aren't related," Michael said, causing Luke to stop laughing.

"Look at this guy go!" Calum gawked as we watched a few videos of him drumming with another band.

"He's already in a band. It's called 'Swallow the Goldfish'," Luke whined.

"No look, there's a message here saying the band broke up. This guy is perfect!" I smiled to myself.

"You just like him 'cause you think he's cute," Calum teased.

"Cuter than you," I retaliated.

Michael took the laptop from my hands.

"Alright girls, cut it out," he said. "What should I say?"

"Say something along the lines of 'hey im michael im in a band with my best friends and we wanted to know if you want to hang out and play music with u-"

"I said 'hey wuu2?'," Michael told me.

"Oh my God," I sighed, rubbing my face with my hand. "He's never gonna-"

Michael's computer dinged, and we all crowded around him.

"WHAT DID HE SAY?!" Luke yelled.

"Lucas! My dad is asleep!" I whisper yelled.

"Sorry."

"He said 'nun hbu'," Micheal read.

He typed back and fourth with Ashton, and within a matter of two minutes, they had a drummer.

"Okay, now that we have a drummer-"

"Yes, Lucas. You can go to bed," I giggled.

"Thank God," he sighed, plopping onto my bed.

I crawled in next to him, and Calum and Michael shared an air-matress on my floor. We were all passed out within a matter of seconds.

The next morning, we all woke up around 9 AM to the sound of my dad knocking on my door.

"Guys, time to wake up."

"Daaaaad. Five more minutes," I whined, nuzzling my face into the side of Luke's pillow.

"Nope, you guys gotta wake up."

We all groaned and sat up, wiping our tired eyes and stretching.

"Good morning, idiots," I yawned.

I crawled over Luke and grabbed his hoodie, pulling it over the tank top I slept in. It covered my tank-top and shorts, so it was basically a dress. Then again, it was also big on Luke. We all groggily walked out of my room and downstairs to my kitchen.

"Morning Zara, morning boys," My dad said happily.

"Morning dad," I said.

"Good morning Mr. Walker," Michael said, sitting next to me at the table.

"How late were you kids up last night?" my dad worried.

"We fell asleep around 2 AM. We had to find a drummer for the band," I explained.

"Did you?"

"Yup. His name is Ashton Irwin. He's 17 and he's been in like, three bands," Calum informed my dad as he placed a plate of eggs and toast in front of each of us.

"He's how old?" my dad asked with his eyebrows raised.

"He's 17. But Michael is almost 17 too," I defended.

"Yeah, next year," my dad pointed out.

"Dad, you can always be here when Ashton comes over tomorrow," I invited.

"Depends on my schedule," he said. "I think I work the night shift tomorrow."

My dad is a doctor and has a crazy schedule. Usually if he has to work on a school night, I stay at one of the guy's house, which is pretty cool.

"Well I'd better get going," my dad said, putting on his coat.

He kissed my forehead and waved goodbye to the guys.

"I don't get it," Calum said out loud.

"Don't get what?" I asked.

"How is your dad so cool with us being over here all the time and spending the night and SHARING BEDS with you? I wouldn't even let my daughter NEAR a boy," he wondered.

I shrugged as I said, "Just be happy he likes you."
