Lianna was busy running errands, before she had to meet Angel at the dress shop. Yes, Angel was getting married to her college sweetheart. And she was the maid of honor, so it was her duty to be there for her best friend every step of the way.
She also had to pick up Lehlanii from her mother's house since she was the flower girl and needed a dress.
"Ma!" She yelled walking into the house.
Like Langston she had also moved her mother into a better environment. She wanted to give her mother something that she deserved.
"We're in the kitchen!" Ms. Faye replied.
Lianna made her way towards the kitchen, seeing that Lehlanii was eating whatever her mother cooked.
"Hey mama."
"Hi sweetie." She responded kissing her cheek.
She sat down next to her daughter, watching her scarf down the homemade Chicken Alfredo.
"Hi mommy's baby." She greeted causing Lehlanii to look up at her mother and smile.
"Hi Mommy." She said before going back to eating her food.
"Is it good?"
Lehlanii nodded her head.
Lianna chuckled. "Are you coming to the dress shop with us?"
"Yes."
The trio made their way to the dress shop, Angel had been blowing up Lianna's phone making sure she was still coming. She had to turn it off because it kept going off every five minutes.
"We're here." She said parking the car.
"I still can't believe that Angel is getting married before you."
"Mhmm, neither can I."
She got out, grabbing her baby out of the back seat. Lianna made sure her mother was out of the car before locking the doors. They walked in the dress shop looking around for Angel. Ms. Faye spotted her looking at dresses.
"BEST FRIEND!!"
She sighed while shaking her head. Between Romell, Angel, and Lehlanii she didn't know who was louder. Wherever they went they were yelling. Lianna figured that Romell passed the trait down to her daughter, and Angel was just ghetto along with Romell.
