Langston walked into the home he and Lianna shared. It was quiet so he assumed she and Lehlanii were asleep. Walking into the kitchen he opened the refrigerator taking out the plate of food Lianna put up for him.

After eating Langston walked upstairs. He stopped to check on his daughter before going to his bedroom, only to run into Rebel. Who looked surprised to see him home so early.

"Hey JoJo."

"Wassup Re. Whatchu doing here?" He asked.

"Didn't want to wait until the weekend, so I just came over after school."

He nodded. "She asleep?" He asked, referring to Liana.

"No."

Once he was done talking to Rebel, he finally made his way into their bedroom. Lianna looked up from her paperwork, not bothering to speak. The couple were currently at odds again. Walking past her, he went into the bathroom to shower.

"Tired of this shit." Langston mumbled to himself.

He spent at least thirty minutes in the shower, before getting out. Lianna was still in bed looking over her paperwork, for her art gallery that she hoped to opened in the next few months.

Deciding to be the bigger person Langston spoke. "How's your project going?"

"Fine, thanks for asking."

"Need help?"

Looking over at him, her eyes softened for a split second. "No."

Langston sighed. He laid on his side of the bed in silence. "What's the problem now?"

"What?" She asked with an attitude.

"What's with the attitude?"

It was a never ending cycle with her, and to be honest he was fed the fuck up with it. One week it was hugs and kisses. Then a week later it was arguments and the silent treatment.

"I don't know what you're talking about."

He chuckled bitterly. "Yeah, I bet you don't."

Growing offended Lianna frowned at his statement. "And what's that supposed to mean?"

"Just what I said." He said, sitting up looking at her.

She scoffed waving him off. "Whatever Langston."

Langston sat next to the person that he had grown to despise over the past few days. It was obvious that Lianna didn't want the relationship to work. So what was the point of trying to make it work?

"I'm done." He said getting out of the bed.

She chuckled, figuring it was another one their weekly break-ups. So instead of paying him any attention, Lianna continued what she was doing.

"Okay, I'll see you when you come back."

He chuckled. "There's no coming back, I'm done forreal." He said, standing against the dresser.

Hearing those words leave his mouth, caused her to look up to see a serious look on Langston's face. Getting out of bed, Lianna walked towards him. She stood in front of him, trying to make sure she heard him correctly.

They stood him the middle of the bedroom staring at each other. "Is that what you want?" She asked.

He nodded looking over at the family portrait on the wall. "Y-yeah that's what I want."

"Okay. I'll be gone by tomorrow."

Keeping her word. The next day, Lianna packed up their things and moved into her mother's house until she could find her own.

Grabbing the last her things, she looked at him interact with their daughter; before looking away.

Langston felt her staring at him but couldn't bring himself to look at her. He was starting to second guess the whole thing. But he knew deep down that it was for the best.

"That's the last of it. You can keep Bug, I'll come pick her up when I get settled." Lianna spoke sitting the key on the countertop.

He nodded. Still refusing to look at her.

"I'll see you later Bug."

"La'er mommy." One-year-old Lehlanii mumbled.

Walking out of house, Lianna sat in her car for twenty minutes before pulling off. Feeling a wet substance on her face, she realized that she was crying.

"I messed up." She said to herself.

"Where's Lianna?" Rebel asked walking into the house.

Langston shrugged drinking from his water bottle. He had been in the same place since she had left. His grandmother had come to pick up Lehlanii, so he had time to himself. Until Rebel came home.

"Whatchu mean you don't know?"

"I don't know." He said smartly.

She studied him, before noticing dried up tears on his face. Rebel frowned because she hated seeing her brother upset. "Did y'all break up?"

"Mhmm."

"Damn. Are you okay?"

He shrugged. "I will be."

Langston stood up going upstairs leaving Rebel alone. "Damn, that was unexpected." She mumbled.
