SUPERPOWERS! Running Man

Haha.

Well, since Haha is sort of the main RM member for this arc, I guess it'll be fitting to have some of the chapters here solely be named after him. Still, I've not been feeling that well these past couple of days, so do forgive me if I do end up posting this late or not posting that often in the next couple of days :/

(On an additional note, I'd like to thank all of the people who have supported this story and made it the way it is now!! Thank you too to all those who have wished me a speedy recovery. It really does mean a lot!)

But without further ado, here we go!

Haha had just left the doctor's room after finding out about the shocking discovery. He was still very much shocked from what he had seen, but this was not going to be an easy day for the young CEO for he was just about to get a call from Yoomes.

"Yes, hyung?" Donghoon said as he picked up the call.

"Donghoon, we've lost contact with Gary just a couple of hours ago in the Bayana Premier Residence*, and I'm sad to say that we might be losing another one of our agent who has been sent to investigate there as well! I'm calling you because I know you're together with Kwangsoo and Ji Lupin, so if you would please do tell them as well about this current predicament. This has now just escalated into a very deeply alarming situation!"

Hearing this, Donghoon's mind stopped and pinpointed all of its focus on one key detail which Yoomes had stated that he had found interesting. Bayana Premier Residence..? That was where Minho lived. At least, Donghoon believed so, unless the man had decided to move house without telling.

"Arasso," Donghoon finally replied as he closed down the call. If what Yoomes said was all true, then this was a mission that certainly called for Donghoon.

"Kwang Soo, Ji Lupin," he called out as he made his way towards his friends and wife who were still sitting outside. "I've got an important news to tell you."

Thus, he began relaying to them what Yoomes had told him through the phone. While this was happening, Byul did become rather curious of why her husband looked so serious, but she kept her feelings to herself. If her husband had something to tell her, then he certainly would.

Once the small discussion was done, both Ji Lupin and Kwang Soo could only stand in silence as the gravity of the situation finally dawned on the two of them. This meant that the three of them were the only ones left to both fend off against the bounty hunters as well as to investigate about the missing agents.

"So, what should we do, hyung?" Kwang Soo asked, starting to feel rather fidgety. "I don't think we're really cut out for this..."

"Yah, don't say things like that!" Ji Lupin interrupted. "Luck could only bring one so far, but confidence-! now that could bring a man towards the moon!"

Completely ignoring this sudden recital of a random quote, Donghoon continued to let the two of them on the plan that he had already made in his mind. As much as he hated to be separated from Byul, especially ever since he had seen her being shot down, he knew that he was the only one out of the three who could do it.

"I need the two of you to escort Byul back to my house," Donghoon started. "You'll be our guest there. I'll tell her about it, so don't worry about it. But I'm only doing this on one condition. You two must do whatever you possibly can to prevent her from getting into harm's way. No matter what! While this is happening, I'll be investigating the disappearance of Gary. I have a friend who lives in the residence where he waa last seen, so I think I might be able to get some lead from there. I'll make sure to return before midnight tonight, but if I don't, make sure to not make Byul worry more than she probably would be! Arasso?"
