Chapter 21

Matapos ang gabing iyon ay mas lalong naging maayos ang relasyon namin.

Ang bilis lumipas ng panahon. We spend our time together every after training. We also had some road trips every Saturday night. We spend our free time whenever we're together and spent our monthsary in my condo to watch Netflix and other movies.

Sa loob ng apat na buwan na yun ay natuto kaming intindihin ang isa't isa at nakikita namin ang mga mannerisms ng isa't isa. Hindi naging madali ang pagtatago namin ng relasyon namin ni Sejun ngunit sa tulong nina Via at Stell ay mas napadali ang pagtatago ng relasyon namin ni Sejun.

Ngayon ay papunta ako sa isang sweet shop para bumili ng sour tapes dahil paborito ni Sejun ang mga maaasim na pagkain. We're going to celebrate our 4th monthsary later in my condo unit.

I was about to get out of the car when my phone suddenly rang. Sejun's name appeared and it made me smile.

"Hey" sambit ko.

"Hey babe. Kumain ka na ba?" tanong ne'to sa kabilang linya dahilan para tingnan ko kung anong oras na.

"I haven't eaten yet" pumasok ako ng shop at dumiretso sa sour section.

"Huwag kang magpapalipas ng gutom"

"Yes babe. Pupunta ka ba mamaya sa condo?"

"About that, I'm sorry babe. I have a meeting with Sir Robin and baka matagalan, e"

"Ah ganun ba? Okay lang babe. I understand" I tried to talk in a cheerful way.

"Babawi ako babe ha? I gotta go. Happy 4th! I love you" sambit nito.

"Yeah sure. Ingat ka and happy 4th. I love you" sagot ko at binaba ko na yung tawag.

I paid for the sour tapes and went back to my car. My phone rang again and saw Teytey's name.

"Riri!" he shouted.

"Ba't ka ba naninigaw Stellvester?"

"Ay sorry. Busy ka ba? Wala naman kayong training ngayon diba?" tanong nito sakin.

"Wala naman, bakit?"

"Nandito ako sa Das Essen"

"Bakit ka nandiyan? Wala ba si Tita kaya ikaw muna nag supervise diyan?"

"Oo, e. That's why you need to come here and help me" sambit niya sa akin.

"Osiya, sige. I'll be on my way" binaba ko na yung tawag at sinimulan na yung makina ng sasakyan.

Madali lang akong nakarating papunta sa restaurant nina Teytey. Nag ayos muna ako sa loob ng aking sasakyan dahil isang eleganteng restaurant ang Das Essen.

Bumaba na ako ng sasakyan at pumasok sa restaurant. Sinalubong ako ni Teytey na nakaupo sa window seat.

"Bakit ka nandito? You should supervise your employees over there" I pointed the cashier area.

"Mom is already here. I don't have to supervise anymore" he wiggled his eyebrows.

"Eh ano pala pinunta ko rito?" I crossed my arms and looked at him seriously.

"May ginawa kasi si Mommy para sa'yo, e" tumingin siya sa gilid at nakita ko si Tita Julia.

"Oh hija! Nandito ka na pala. It's been a while" she hugged me tight and looked at me adorably.

"Teytey actually told me to come here Tita. I missed you! Ang blooming ha" pangungulit ko rito.

"Your Tito Andrei has been spoiling me that's why I'm blooming" she posed like a model and I laughed at what she did.

"Mommy pinagtitinginan na kayo ng mga customer! Can we sit now?" paninita ni Teytey sa kanyang ina.

Umupo naman si Tita sa tabi ko at tinawag ang waiter.

"Can you get the food that I cooked a while ago?" sambit ne'to sa waiter.

"Yes Ma'am. I'll bring it here right away" he bowed and made his way to the kitchen.

"I cooked something and I want you to taste it. It's not on the menu yet" she smiled at me.

"Wow! I feel so special Tita" I uttered.

"You are special Victoria" she placed her hand on top of mine and looked at me calmly.

"Parang hindi ako yung anak mo Mommy" pagmamaktol ni Teytey na parang bata.

"Stop acting like a child Stellvester"

I suddenly missed my mom. But I know she's always here to guide me.

We kept on talking about their plans with the restaurant. They're planning to open another branch of Das Essen.

We weren't able to track time and it's already 6pm, I needed to go home. I bid my goodbye to Tita Julia.

"Tita, I'll go ahead na po" I stood up and kissed her cheeks.

"Osiya sige hija. Mag ingat ka okay? If you have any problem, you can always talk to me. Heto lasagna, paborito mo yan diba?" she handed 2 huge tupperwares and I accepted it.

"Omg! Tita salamat po. Yes po Tita, I'll be updating you naman po. Salamat po ulit"

"Ah Mommy. Ihahatid ko lang po si Tori sa kotse niya" singit ni Teytey.

"Sige Stell. Ihatid mo na si Tori"

Naglakad kami palabas ng restaurant at nagtungo sa parking lot.

"Mag ingat ka pauwi" he patted my head.

"Yeah, sure. Ingat din kayo ni Tita" I pinched his cheeks and he hugged me.

"Sige na" he moved away a bit and waved at me.

I entered the car and honked to say my good bye. I was supposed to call Via when my phone rang and it showed her name.

"Hey Via! Got some lasagna here. Huwag ka nang magluto" salubong ko sa tawag niya.

"Hi Ri! I'm with my cousins, I can't go home tonight" she answered.

"Oh ganon ba? Sige Via. Mag-ingat ka" pinatay ko na agad ang tawag.

I'll be spending my night alone? It's been a while but what's the problem? I'm used to be like this.

Nang makarating ako ng parking lot ay agad akong bumaba ng sasakyan at binitbit ang mga binigay ni Tita Julia sakin. Naglakad ako papuntang unit at agad pinindot ang code. Nagulat ako nang nabuksan ko ang pinto.

Nagkalat ang mga iba't ibang kulay rosas sa sahig at may nakasinding mga kandila. Naglakad ako papuntang living room at nakita ko siyang nakatayo at may hawak na bouquet.

He smiled shyly and approached me. He gave me the bouquet and reached for my hand. He kissed the back of my hand.

"I thought—"

"You thought I have a meeting? It was just an excuse" he smiled cutely.

"And you were successful in surprising me" ngumuso ako at pinipigilan sumabog sa kilig.

"I wasn't able to surprise you like this before cause we were always together" he held my hand and guided me to the balcony.

May dalawang upuan na magkaharap sa lamesa. May steak na rin na nakahanda doon. I smiled because of his effort in setting all of this.

He offered me a chair and I sat there. He poured a wine on my glass and we did a toast.

"Four months and lifetime to go" he uttered.

"Four months and lifetime to go" I mimicked him and smiled.

I'm willing to spend the rest of my life with you, Sejun.
