It was almost before noon, when Josie woke up and had to think for a second, what is she doing in this king sized, unbelievably comfortable bed. She shook her head in disbelief and turned on her side. She had a clear view to the bathroom and the idea of refreshing shower lured her out of the bed. The towels under the basin were incredibly soft, like in a hotel. She showered quickly, used Roger's shampoo and shower gel, dried her hair with a towel. Then she thought about puting her dress back on, but they smelled like cigarette smoke, so she put on his t-shirt again. She went downstairs, Roger was already doing something in the kitchen.

"Good morning, sleepyhead. I was just thinking I have to wake you up." He greeted her and served scrumbled eggs on a plate.

"Coffee or tea?"

"Coffee, please. How long are you awake?" She wondered and sat behind a table. Roger placed the plate in front of her, with some bread, glass of juice and turned on the coffee machine.

"Well, I don't loaf around." He grinned and slid two pieces of paper across the table. He sat next to her and pointed at one of them.

"This si my friend's number, he works in a publishing house. From what he said, they could use a translator. And this is my sister's friend's number, she's looking for a flatmate."

Josie stared at him, then at the numbers.

"You didn't... You are... Thank you, thank you!" She blurted out. "You shouldn't have. I mean... You know me barely for a day, why do you this for me?"

"I just wanted to help."

"Job in a publishing house, that sounds like a dream." she smiled. Roger briefly squeezed her forearm and got up to finish the coffee.

"Phone is in the hallway." He added and just heard how quickly she got up and ran to the hallway. He listened to her precise, professional English, he almost couldn't hear her accent. She then ran back to the kitchen and hugged him.

"I have an interview at two!" she shouted happily.

"Congratulations." He smiled and snaked his arms around her waist.

"And what was it about the best breakfast around?"

She sat behind the table and started eating the eggs. She stopped after the first bite and Roger smiled smugly.

"Those are perfect!"

He sat next to her with his breakfast. Josie watched him inconspicuously, she wasn't able to understand what's hapenning. She sat in a home of this incredibly attractive guy, ladie's man according the press, they didn't even sleep together and yet he made her breakfast, called his acquaintences, just to help her.

"You're so nice to me." she whispered with the cup at her lips. He looked at her and they looked into each others eyes for a moment. He knew he can't tell her, he'd never did anything like that before, for somebody he barely knew. Even he couldn't understand that.

"Just happy to help. You sounded really worried abou those stuff."

"I didn't mean to complain." She said quickly.

"I know." he assured her. She finnished her breakfast and did the dishes, eventhough he told her not to. So he went to change, then she put on her dress back.

"Thank you again. I should go now, prepare fo the interview."

"I'll drive you." he said and took the car keys from the coffee table in the hallway.

"Oh, you did enough already, I can take the underground."

"Please, I don't have any oher plans."

She didn't noticed his car at night, Alfa Romeo cabriolet, she didn't dare to presume the price.

"So, that's the famous car." She commented, once in the car. He smiled widely.

"That's my love." He nodded and stroke the steering wheel. She told him how to get to her halls. There were small groups of students in front of the entrance. She realized she knew some of them. Roger handed her small piece of paper.

"That's my number, in case you want to get in touch sometimes." He said and she took it. He then handed her another and found a pen in a glove compartment.

"And if you want to, I could call you." he explained and she quickly wrote down her number. "Good luck with you interview."

"Thank you again."

He just waved his hand, so she got out. It felt rude just to leave, so she waited and waved him, before the car was too far. She turned around then, Roger's car definitely got everyone's attention.
