Queen left on Monday and Josie got her first batch of work. She was thrilled to start with it. She bought a desk with money from her parents, which she got for a graduation. She laid all of her vocabularies around the typewriter and worked almost all day without a break, enchanted by the option to finally make her own money, to make a good name at work and finally stand on her own legs.

She got into routine in the next two weeks. She got up, made breakfast, although her scrambled eggs were never as good as Roger's, she sat to her work, went for a short walk after lunch, work a bit more and relaxed in the evening, reading and sitting on the phone with Roger. He reported the progress with his album, new plans about the tour. She still remembered him talk about taking her to America, but it never came up again and she wasn't ever sure, if it would work with her job.

And then there was the flashback coming again and again, anytime and anyplace, the way she was aroused by his voice. It was like she wasn't in the real world in the moment, she stopped everything for a moment. She didn't dare to say this to anyone.

She had no idea, when Queen would come back home and neither did them. Sometimes, she felt as if she forget how she lived her life before she met them. Susan had a job too, she was translating contracts and interpreted to a car company. She had more money than Josie, but spent a lot of time in the office and on meetings.

"The girls are coming this weekend, do you want to join them?" Roger asked one evening. Josie jumped up with joy, Marge looked up from magazine with surprise. Of course she wanted to.

On Friday evening, Veronica's car stopped in front of their house and Josie got in with a wide smile on her lips.

"Where's the little one?" she asked Veronica. She looked to the back mirror with a surprised look, if Josie really means that question.

"She's with my mom. I'm going there for sex." Veronica announced and Chris smiled impishly. "Yeah and you should see this girl's lingerie." Veronica added, when she noticed the smile.

"Well, I'm just going to see my friends." Mary said.

"Thanks, Mary." Josie smiled.

"Oh please, it's just a matter of time before you're going for sex." Veronica proclaimed.

"Right, what's the deal between you two?" Chris asked.

"No deal, really. Just friends." Josie said and threw a pleading look at Mary, so she wouldn't talk about what she saw.

"You don't like Roger?" Chris continued with her interrogation. Josie almost regretted she joined them.

"I like him, I confess that. But I think it's a bit more complicated."

"That's right, not so much of a victory to date a musician." Mary agreed.

"Well, but Roger really is not gay." Veronice laughed.

"I didn't mean that." Mary rolled her eyes, her face unusually serious. Josie was glad she's here too, both girls in front thought about one thing only, but she didn't blame them.

They went to an old manor, modernised and remodeled to the studio with acommodation.

The greeting was rather short, Deaky and Brian grabbed their wives bags and disappeared in their rooms.

Josie was so incredibly happy, but didn't dare to let it out. Her genuine happiness showed only in her smile and bright eyes.

Roger and Freddie started the grill and began preparing their dinner, Freddie talked only about the races, where they planned to go tomorrow. He explained, they have to wake up early and how amazing it is, they want to name the new album A Day at the Races.

"You should've said, I don't have a hat!" Josie became exasparated.

"I have two, don't worry." Marry assured her. "Freddie told me and I expected somebody to forget."

"Will it match my dress?"

"It's cream-coloured, it matches everything." The girls began to talk about their outfit for tomorrow. Luckily Josie had pale blue dress and Mary's hat worked well with them.

Later, the couples joined them, Josie almost envied them, how happy they looked. But the evening was very pleasant, friendly, and with a belly full of food and wine, she decided she has everything she needs.
