The music stopped, they stood together on the dance floor full of disappointed people, who just got their dance interrupted. Josie recognized instantly the first tones of Stairway to Heaven.

"This is the longest slowdance song in the world."

"I believe it is." Roger nodded, connected his hands on the small of her back and pulled her to him. She rested her hands behind his neck.

For a while the disappointed dancers left the dance floor and they danced alone, before other couples joined them.

"You do know he's a jerk?" Roger asked. She didn't answer and rested her head on his shoulder. He moved his hands a bit lower, just a tiny bit, few inches, but they were just in the place it began to be indecent to touch somebody else's woman. She pressed closer to him and his shirt soaked her tears.

At first they ignored the faster interlude, but than Roger spinned her, so she had to laugh and that was why he did it. With the last tones they just stood there and looked into each others eyes.

"I need to..." she started, turned on her heels and disappeared in the bathroom door. Chris, Mary and Veronica watched them for whole eight minutes, got up and went after her. Chris made everyone else leave the ladies bathroom and locked the door.

Josie sood by the basin, leaning on it and trying to breath out the hysteria, that crept up through her body.

"What was that?" Veronica asked.

"Are you alright?"

She just shook her head. She crouched down, hugged herself and breathed deeply.

"Do you want some water?" Mary asked and again Josie just shook her head.

"He..." she sobbed, but didn't finish, because she couldn't control herself.

"We saw that."

"He does this things to me." Josie spoke quickly, so she could say it between her ragged breaths.

"We can see."

Josie hid her head in her thighs and huddled like that whispered something.

"...married."the girls understood only the last word.

"What did you say?" Chris asked. Josie raised her head.

"Scott wants us to get married next year."

"He proposed? What did you say?"

"That's the thing, he didn't ask! He just... announced it during a dinner with his mother."

"And you want to marry him?"

"No. I mean. That's the first thought, that comes to my mind. Not now. I don't have it sorted out in me."

"Sorted out with Roger." Chris specified.

"But what si there to sort out? We had a week, and I was crazy about him month later, but by then he took the girls to bed by two."

"It wasn't like that." Chris shook her head. Josie stood up and looked her in the eyes.

"What now?"

"From what Bri said, Roger was a whole different person."

"From what I saw, he had one girl on each knee."

"I know that. But before."

"Well he picked the perfect time." Josie snapped and apologized with the same breath.

"Josie, look at it simply. If now, in this moment, Scott would propose to you, if you should marry him now, would you say yes?"

"No. I'm not ready to marry him, I'm not sure I ever will."

"You are going to the tour with us anyway." Mary interfered. "You can't handle be together for a month and a half."

"God, I really want to be around him for a month and a half."

"Don't worry about that." Mary grinned.

Once she felt better, they went back. Roger, Freddie and their friend stood on a table and sang national anthem from the top of their lungs. Josie waited for him to look at her and smile apologeticly for running away, he tilted his head a bit and his eyes sparkled.
