"Shit."

The dark haired boy emerged from the pile of wooden planks and debris. Weakly he opened his eyes, his brown eyes widening at the sight before him.

A perpetual sight of blackness was all that he saw. He decided to look down, and all he saw was his torn apart, grey converse and an expanse of grass dusted by residue from what Walter calls the 'flare' or 'the sun going kaboomy causing the whole world to be completely annihilated'.

Walter decided to make his way out of the pile he currently stood in to venture into this odd area.

"Grass, grass, grass, grass, gra- woah."

He stood at the edge of the grassy land, piece of dirt and broken objects tumbling down into the unknown pitch blackness.

And then it hit him. He was standing on the only surviving piece of Earth left. His houses lot.

That meant his idiotic friends, Griffin Newton and Hero Alby, and his obnoxious babysitter, Lily Alastair, we're wiped off the face of the Earth.

He could react to this situation in two ways: one, mourn for his friends, father and terrible babysitters death and lay down on the ground to die or pull his big boy pants up and look for everyone or at the least, try to stay alive.

It was time that Walter Wazowski grew balls so, hence he pulled his nonexistent big boy pants up and walked into what was left of his house.

The sight was devastating, the state of the house was devastating. But, somehow he managed to clamber up the creaky weak stairs, all the way to his bedroom.

Everything was destroyed.

His bed was split in half, the bed sheets we're torn and hung in various places around the room, his mini fridge that contained his precious stock of juice boxes we're destroyed.

The room reeked of the sharp scent of his strawberry and orange and lemon mint juice boxes. Toto, his stuffed parakeet that usually sat upon his bed was torn into shreds, stuffing of the toy were casted away into the corners of his room, and the permanent smile that was sewed onto the toy's face was mangled.

It all could just make him cry.

And so Walter sunk to his knees, and dropped his face into his rough and dirty hands preparing for the tears to flow.

But, then he heard a ding from what seemed to be coming from behind his dented mini fridge.

A smile of hope appeared upon the tanned boys face. He proceeded by running towards the object, pushing the fridge with all his might to the side.

And finally, he managed to get it out of the way and under revealed what was left of his computer.

The sight of the old, white computer delighted him. He took ahold of the monitor. His eyes rapidly searched around the room for his keyboard to go along with the monitor. He sprinted to the sill of the window to see his keyboard tumbling down the edge of the land and into the blackness.

"Just great." he grunted snarling at the white object.

He came back to the monitor, banging his fist lightly against it's screen. "I can make this work, so what no keyboard? Doesn't matter."

sure thing, player # 2. That was the exact same thing player # 1 thought.

"Who was that? Who's there? Show yourself!" Walter demanded rising up from his crouched position.

It was a preppy voice that said that. Though the statement was intended to sound sarcastic it came out still slightly energized and preppy. Why did the voice inside his head call him player # 2- who was player # 1?
