I came up with this one like yesterday and was supposed to post it, but didn't. So.... Here you go.

Janus awoke to hear shuffling in the kitchen. He silently groaned, looking at the clock on his bedside table. '3:00 am?' He sat up in bed, pulling a sweater over his head. He glanced at his gloves and hat, shaking his head, Janus was too tired to bother. He sighs and gets out of bed, rubbing his eyes. He opens his door and hears clanging and crashing, deciding to walk downstairs and check out the noise.

He walks downstairs and peeks into the kitchen, finding the source of the noise. Remus.

"Remus? What... What are you doing?" Remus turns around red staining most of his outfit and his hands.

He smiles, tilting his head slightly.

"Uh... Playing with Blood?" Janus raises and eyebrow and takes a deep breath, closing his eyes. "You know what? Nevermind, just... Try not to be so loud?"

Remus' eyes flick around a bit, looking around the kitchen.

"Okay!" He grins again before turning back around and beginning to play with... Whatever he was playing with.

Janus shakes his head, smiling to himself softly.

He turns around, stalking back upstairs and faceplanting back onto his bed. He curls back into the warmth of his covers, falling asleep easily.

Remus rubs his cheek with his hand, smearing the blood all over his cheek. Putting his hand to his chin, he tilts his head. "Ehh... It works for now." With that, he then turned around snapping to clean himself up.

Instead of heading back into his room, he peeked into Janus's smiling as he saw the snake curled up in his sweater, mumbling things into his pillow.

It was adorable. Remus yawns, just deciding to sleep next to him tonight. He lays down next to Janus, smiling as Janus curls up next to him, probably relishing of the warmth Remus gave off.

Before Remus knew it, he was dozing off, huddled up next to a snake he loved.
