Roman sighed, burying his face in his hands. "I wish I had paid more attention when he told me how broken he was, when he said all he could think about was me, when he said that his world just fell into pieces in front of him. When he said he had cried for hours on end, I wish I had paid more attention to him..." Roman hesitated, then continued. "Maybe if I had.... He wouldn't be gone..." Then the tears started to fall like rain, rolling down Romans cheeks, and he couldn't stop them... And he didn't want to. He stepped back and fell to his knees. "I wish I had paid more attention.... When he said he loved me.."
