Logan turned around and around, eyes darting everywhere to find Thomas. His panic finally started to kick in as he realized he couldn't find him. To make matters worse, he was in the middle of an aisle at Walmart. Thomas could be anywhere. His brain was going a million miles a minute, trying to figure out where Thomas might have gone. His vision started to blur, his hands shaking. Then a hand gripped onto his shoulder... Logan heard a voice start to give him instructions.
"Hey... Calm down... Breathe..." The voice said, pausing for a second. " Breathe In for 4, hold for 7, Out for 8." They repeated this like a chant, Logan finally starting to go along. After a minute or so, He was able to get his panicking mind back under his control. Logan took a shaky breath. "W-What... Happened?" He asked, rubbing the side of his face. "You were having a panic attack." Logan turned to face the voice, meeting brown eyes that mirrored his own. Then his eyes widened. "Thomas!" The male tilted his head slightly. "What?" "My son! I don't know where he is! He was right here... And now he's gone!" The male took his right hand out of his pocket putting his hands up slightly. "Calm Down, uh... I'll help you find him"
After a good two minutes of searching, they found Thomas in an aisle at least 2 away from the one they were in originally. Logan rushed to Thomas, picking him up. "Your alright.." He took a deep breath, hugging Thomas into his shoulder. Pulling back Thomas looked up at him, clapping his hands and giggling. "Mama!" "Don't you ever run away from me like that again. I'm just so glad your safe." Thomas smiles, reaching for Logan's glasses. "Ah. What did I say about that?" Thomas pulled his hand away quickly and giggled. Logan then remembered the person that helped him look for Thomas and turned. "Thank you... So much." He nods. "You know, I don't think I got your name.." "Virgil. And yeah, your welcome." Virgil says, putting his hands in his pockets. "I'm Logan. And I'm sure you heard me say Thomas' name." Virgil nods, smiling slightly. "Uh... I don't know if you'd be interested..... But... Do you think... I don't know..." Virgil's voice was saturated with anxiety and uncertainty. "You'd want to go out with me?" Virgil tensed as he finished his sentence, obviously expecting to be yelled at. Logan hesitated. "I would love to."
