I was working, another boring day at the pet store. We had a few pride items for pride month, and our boss insisted on having the lgbt workers wear a pride pin on our uniform. So now I had a pride pin and had a few christians tell me that being gay was a sin. I simply replied with a glare. I was assigned to work with the cats, then just walk around and see if anyone needed help. All I had to do was clean out the cat cages and fill the water and food bowls. It had gone well. One little kitten wouldn't go inside, but she finally obeyed. Most of the animals liked me. I was just getting done and I had walked out of the door to see a guy.

I was bored and Lynz was doing whatever in her room. I decided to go to the pet store. I wasn't planning on getting an animal because I already had two cats and Lynz would kill me. I decided to walk, I pulled on my coat with fur at the collar and the end of the sleeves. (I just like coats like that) It was cold here. I made my way to the pet store.
Once I got there I headed to the cat cage thingys. Not much cats were in there, someone must of just finished cleaning the cage. A little door opened revealing a little kitten the kitten looked like it didn't want to go in, poor thing. A tattooed hand was petting it trying to get it to go in, the person was calming it down but it didn't want to go in. I tapped on the glass getting the kittens attention. The kitten meowed coming over to me. I pet the kitten through a little hole only my finger could fit through. The kitten licked my finger and let me pet it. The door opened again and more cats came in. "Awwe." They were so tiny it was the cutest thing ever. The other sides were filled n stuff. Soon the door next the cages opened revealing a short guy. He smiled at me. "Looking to adopt a cat?" He asked. I shook my head. "My roommate would kill me." I said giggling. He laughed too. "I'm Frank." I looked at him, he was pretty cute. "I'm Gerard." He smiled. "If you aren't gonna buy and animal why are you here?" I smiled. "I need to get food for my two cats and I like to look at the animals." He smiled, "I'm guessing you know your way around the store then?" I shook my head. "Oh no, this is a different one then the one I usually come to." He nodded. "I can show you where the cat food is if you want." I smiled and nodded. We walked and talked. I got the food and started walking to the cashier. "Hey Gerard?" Frank asked and got my attention, I turned around. "Yeah?" He fidgeted with his fingers. "Would you want to get coffee some time?" I blushed and smiled. "Yeah, of course." I grinned. He grinned too. "Could I get your number too?" I smiled and pulled up my contacts on my phone and clicked the new contact button and Frank did the same, we exchanged numbers and separated. I couldn't wait to tell Lindsey about this.
