Simon (Third Person) :
Simon sighed, running his hands through his hair.
No... there's no way it was a bet. The whole thing couldn't have possibly been an act!
Everything clicked in Simon's head. That's why he wanted to be partners with him for the science assignment! That's why he... kissed him. To get Simon to fall for him. Was that fake though? It felt so... real.
Simon meant virtually nothing to JJ then... all Simon was was a bet.
Simon?
read.Are you ok?
read.Did I do something wrong?
read.I know.
Simon simply texted.
He really wasn't in the mood to talk to JJ.
It especially broke his heart because... well, deep down he knew he still liked JJ. Despite everything, Simon couldn't help hope that this was a joke... or that JJ didn't mean to make the bet. But then a tiny part of him sensed that it was unlikely for that to be true. Forget unlikely, impossible.
He wished that it wasn't true.
He wished he'd never never found out.
Never played along with Vik's text message...
But that still wouldn't of changed the lies."And don't come back down till you have an explanation to what happened!"
Simon's mum shouted at him, whilst he went to his room.Simon knew it was technically his fault that his mum was upset, but he couldn't help but be annoyed. She didn't have to be that angry did she?
Simon Shut the door behind him, and tried to think of what to say. It was clear she knew Simon drank alcohol.
As soon as he walked in, she wrinkled her nose, due to the fact that Simon reeked of it. And all that did was fuel her fury. She demanded to know what happened, and when Simon failed to come up with something to say, she got angry and sent him to his room.Simon didn't mind this though, as it gave him time to plan out what he was going to say.
Firstly, it was pretty fucking clear that she will never find out about Simon and JJ's kiss. Or that they played 'spin the bottle'. Or the fact he was... not straight. The main issue was the fact he smelt like alcohol. There was no use denying it. She smelt it. But the problem was, what would be his excuse..?
Then his phone vibrated, momentarily pulling him out of his thoughts. He checked the message, which was from Vik.
'Do you really like Simon?'
It read. Simon tilted his head in confusion. Did Vik know who he was talking to? He was about to text that this was Simon he was talking to, but Vik beat him to it.
JJ?
Simon quickly flipped his phone over, to check if he had the right phone. He did, so Simon was confused. This must have been a mistake.
Then, an idea popped to mind. A bad idea admittedly, but what was the worst that could happen..?yep, 100%
Simon typed, all worries brushing off. There's no harm in this right? It's not like Simon would carry this out much longer.
then why r u still participating in the bet?
it's not fair for Simon. U should tell him the truth.Simon was shocked.
Bet!? What bet!?
And what wasn't fair on him!?
Vik!? This is Simon. What bet?
Simon typed quickly. He probably shouldn't have just baited himself out, but he felt the urge to know.
Simon!? Shit! I thought...
Tell me Vik. I already know there's a bet.
Just tell me.It was a while ago Simon.
No-one meant it...What's that supposed to mean!?
JJ bet that he could make anyone fall for him, in retaliation to everyone teasing him.
Simon stared at his screen, his mind going blank. So... Simon was the bet. Just a bet.
Simon looked up an something pulled him out of his thoughts. A knocking noise was coming from his window. It definitely couldn't be knocking though...
As Simon's room was on the second floor.
