Simon (Third Person) :

Simon hesitantly inched towards his window. The knocking was getting louder and louder, then, it suddenly stopped.

He slowly peeled back his curtains and saw...

JJ!?

He had his eyes screwed shut in pain, and his fingertips were white from the strain that was put on them. He was hanging onto Simon's windowsill!

"Oh my god!"
Simon gasped, quickly opening his window, and pulling JJ in.

They both toppled in, JJ falling on Simon.

"What are you doing here?"
Simon muttered, getting up from the floor.

He dusted himself down, trying to process what just happened. Had JJ climbed to his window!?

"Uh... I wanted to talk to you."
JJ said, rubbing his neck nervously.

"Why didn't you just call me?"
Simon glared at JJ, sitting on his bed.

"We both know you wouldn't have picked up."
JJ said.

Simon shrugged, knowing that JJ was right. He wouldn't have picked up.

"I came to apologise and tell you the whole story."
JJ said.

Simon looked at him, debating wether he should hear him out, or kick him out.

"Simon... I'm sorry. I really am. I- I don't know why I made the bet. At first, I only hung out with you for the bet. But then I realised that I liked you. I really liked you. And I want you to know that... I really want you to know that, what I felt wasn't fake."
JJ said, not breaking eye contact with Simon.

"I want you to cancel it."
Simon said.

JJ sat on the bed, next to Simon and pulled his phone out. He went onto WhatsApp, and clicked on their group chat.

Guys, I'm cancelling the bet.
It's not fair on Simon.

JJ texted, and showed Simon.

"Simon... I really like you. I'm so sorry for what I did. I completely understand if... if you hate me."

Simon finally cracked a smile.

"You look weird when your... mellow. It doesn't suit you."
Simon laughed.

"But honestly, promise me you'll never do something like that again."
Simon said seriously.

"I promise."

"Good."

"Anyway, I've also got a peace offering."
JJ said shyly, putting his hand in his pocket.

"Here,"
He said, pulling out a mini pack of love hearts.
(Heart-shaped sweets)

"Every time you eat one, you have to read what it says."
JJ smiled, giving it to Simon.

"You didn't have to."
Simon smiled, looking into JJ's eyes.

"You deserve way more, but I kind of spent all of my cash on booze the other day..."
JJ chuckled.

Simon unraveled the pack, noticing it was quite loose. Then, he took the first one.
He looked at it and blushed.

(Yoooo, cringe waring)

"...Kiss me."
Simon read, not looking at JJ.

JJ placed a hand under Simon's chin, bring him up to look at JJ.

JJ lent in, and softly placed his lips onto Simon's.
Simon smiled as they broke apart.

"I bet all of these say 'kiss me'."
Simon snickered, looking at all of them, and he was right.

"So that's why the packet was loose! You re-arranged them."
Simon laughed, making JJ blush.

"There's also a special one in there."
JJ said, shuffling back on Simon's bed and resting his back on the headboard.

Simon furrowed his eyebrows, looking through them again. He poured them all out onto the palm of his hand and noticed a small, folded piece of paper amongst the love hearts. He placed the paper on his bed, as he put all of the sweets back. He unfolded the paper, and read it out loud.

"Simon, will you go out with me?"

Simon started blushing, and he looked at JJ.

"Yes."
Simon smiled, shuffling next to JJ.

JJ sighed out with relief.

"Is tomorrow ok?"

"Tomorrow's perfect."
Simon said, cuddling up to JJ, completely forgetting about everything else.

---------------

Awwww
(Love hearts are kinda rank tho)
But yeah,

I have a feeling we're going to see a familiar face on the date... 👀
