At that, I looked up and saw.....

A blue beanie over his very curly, brown hair, a blue sweatshirt and a green duffel bag over his shoulder. Unaware of how long I was taking in his appearance, he caught me staring and smirked, "You know...I'm not a statue so you can stop admiring my handsomeness". Eyes wide open, I was taken back by his words, confusion lingered in my eyes for a second but then realized what he was talking about and immediately stopped.

"Um...I'm sorry but I don't know you or where I'm at...to be honest with you" I hesitated my response. He blinked twice, trying to understand why is she out here all alone when it's still dark out. Holding out his hand, he expected the girl to take it but what he saw before his eyes was something he never thought he would anticipate. I flinched further back into the bench which made a creek sound indicating that it is clearly not stable.

Pulling back his hand slowly towards his chest, he had a worrisome look upon his face and that made me realize that his intentions were actually pure. "Oh I'm so so so sorry...I-I-I didn't want t-to scare y-you" he stuttered but his voice seems genuine in a way that I can trust him.

Softening my eyes, I slowly put my hand out to touch his and quickly intertwined my hand in his to feel any sense of warmth. Blushing a cherry red, he relaxed and picked me up, seeing that my legs are wobbling it clearly shows that I have been out here for quite some time now. Taking in my appearance, he noticed my dry lips, clothes dirty, hair looks like I had a fight with a cat and the cat won, beat-up shoes and then took a glance at the bag that was on my shoulders.

"Alright let's get you back home then," he said but then paused before continuing his sentence, "Wait...didnt you said that you don't know where you are?" he questioned then pointed at me.

"Uhh...yes?" I replied scratching my neck. "W-where are w-we g-going?" I stuttered as he suddenly gripped my hand hard as if I was going to escape. "Oww!" I winced, "Oh, my apologies" he frowned, releasing his grip on my hand.

Taking the bag off my shoulders, he began walking ahead of me. Since he didn't answer my question the first time, I stood in my spot, arms folded and a worried expression plastered unto my face. "I asked you a question the first time, where are you taking me?" I asked more demanding.

He pulled to a stop and huffed, "Well I was heading to my house but seeing you here all alone for me to think you possibly have nowhere else to go, I decided why not take you to my house...that is if you're comfortable talking to a complete stranger and also nowhere to go at the same time."

Absorbing what he just explained made me realize that he's right, but the question is still surfacing. Can I trust this boy? I still didn't know his name.

Finally giving up, I sighed and agreed to go with him.

Time: 1:57 am

After walking for so long, a house that is much bigger than where I use to live came into my eyesight and when I say wow I meant to emphasize that word so deeply.
