"Hello? Maia?" Jordan picks up.
"Oh my gosh Jordan I am so sorry! I left without telling anybody, and that was stupid. I just had a friend problem that I needed to resolve."
"Apology NOT accepted," he replies, hopefully joking.
"You're right. How will you ever forgive me?" I joke back.
"Well, there is one thing you could do." He begins.
"Anything." It better not be anything stupid.
"I need a date to this mascarade ball. It's for the town, and you have to do this traditional dance."
That sounds really fun. I've always wanted to do something like that. Like they do on The Vampire Diaries.
"I'm in." I reply, not even having to think about it.
"Sweet. Okay so you have to wear a super fancy dress with those arm glove thingies, and don't forget the mask. Also, we should practice the dance, so wanna come over today at 3:00 to practice?"
"Sounds great. See you then."
