Easter Announcement

Sarada's POV Easter 12:00pm

I put on my blue bunny ears headband for the little Easter egg hunt Borutos family was having at their house at 2:00 pm

I'm not going to hunt for eggs, it sounds boring to me. I'm just going to watch my friend hunt the eggs.

I took out a matching blue outfit from my closet and put it on, along with some white shoes.

My hair was already done and I had already taken a shower, so I went downstairs and was greeted by my mom. 

"Hey sweetie" my mom gave me a small smile

"hi mom" I went into the kitchen and went into the refrigerator and grabbed some fruits and milk

I took out the blender and added some watermelon, strawberries, and some milk into the blender then turned it on. 

"hey, Sarada?" I turned off the blender and poured the mixture into a water bottle

"yeah" I looked up as I drunk my smoothie

"so I have an announcement to share at the party, you and your dad are going to be very happy about it!" she giggled as she went upstairs

"okay?" I walked to the living room and just watched some anime before we would leave for the party

1:45pm

I got up from the couch as I checked the time on my phone. We have 15 more minutes until the party, so we need to start leaving now.

"Mom!" I yelled from downstairs

"Yeah I know I'm coming!" she yelled back "just start leaving, I'll be there soon sweetie and by the way, your father is already there!!!"

"Okay!!" I yelled before running out the door and I couldn't help but think of what the big announcement was. 

2:07pm

I knocked on the door of Borutos house, I haven't seen him since our date and I have been kinda bored because of that.

The door opened and I was greeted by Boruto. I gave him a tight hug and pecked his lips.

I smiled

"I love you" I used my baby voice, he smiled back'

"I love you more" he rubbed noses with mine

"can you two stop all of that lovey-dovey crap.....its such a drag" Shikadai walked up to us with a disgusted look on his face

I backed away from Boruto and blushed

"well let's go to the backyard" he grabbed my hand and we went to the backyard

My dad was sitting down by Naruto, probably arguing or something. Borutos friends were playing with their bunny ears like idiots. Then there were mom's friends talking.

"let's sit down" I said

We sat down and we started to talk about what my mom's announcement was. 

"Hey sweetie I'm here" my mom arrived wearing a cute little dress, but she looked a little bit ummm.......curvy? 

Different maybe?

Something about her body shape was different

Not that it was a bad thing but I was just confused

"hey mom welcome" I got up and gave her a light hug

I pulled back as she greeted Boruto

"hey Boruto give me a hug" she smiled

I chuckled a bit and sat back down

This party is going to be fun

4:30 pm

Boruto, his friends, mom's friends, Sasuke and Naruto hunted for easter eggs for over an hour. Me and mom stayed at one of the tables and just watched dad and lord seventh fight and the others did the game right.

I asked mom why she sat down and she told me it was a secret. I started to get very curious and I just couldn't wait for the announcement now

Now everybody is eating an early dinner outside. I wasn't really hungry, but mom was hungry. She ate so much, I started to get more suspicious.

"mom is something wrong" I looked over at her

"no I'm good" she continued eating as I sighed

6:30 pm

Everybody gathered around Sakura while I was sitting down still

"Okay everybody I have a very special announcement" mom smiled

My eyes shot open 

Finally, I get to hear the announcement 

"Sarada and anata...come up here" my mom smiled at me and dad

We walked up to her together as she kept on giggling

"okay Sarada and Sasuke....open the box" she pointed to a little box that was on a little table beside her

Me and dad looked at each other in confusion before putting are hands on the box

We slowly opened the top of the box. The top fell off and inside the box was a pair of baby shoes. We looked at the shoes then looked back at mom.

"what does that mean Sakura-chan!" lord seventh big mouth asked

"well Naruto...these are baby shoes and we will need them for another member of our family" me and dads eyes widened 

I heard a whole bunch of gasps and cheers.

Mom was...

"I'm pregnant!!!" she yelled in excitement

My dad went up to my mom and hugged her tightly as everybody else clapped and cheered

I just stood there in shock. I started to feel tears in my eyes

"sweetie are you okay" I heard my mom asked

"mom..." I started to sob

I felt warmth on my body, then I realized Boruto was hugging me

"mom.." I sobbed in Borutos chest

"it's okay.." I looked up at Boruto, who was smiled

He patted my head and gestured me to my parents. I turned around to see my parents opening their arms to me

"mom..dad" I sobbed as I ran to them, joining them in the hug

"We love you Sarada" my dad whispered 

"me too" I whispered back
