The nightmare

"Hey Hinata?" Kageyama asked his boyfriend as they walked together on the sidewalk.

"Yeah what is it?"

"Do you remember when you slept over at my house and you had a nightmare?"

"Yeah I remember." The orange haired boy replied shyly and frowning at the thought of the nightmare.

"Do you think you could maybe tell me about it? In all honestly it caught me off guard so much I thought it was kinda funny" kageyama says almost giggling.

"Hey!! Don't make fun of me I was scared!" Hinata yells with a pout on his face.

"Geez Im sorry dumbass but you were all "I had a dream that you died" it was funny"

"Wow you really are super mean, but yeah, i guess I could tell you about it."

"It went something like this..."

———The Dream———

"Oi, Im going to go out and buy food, want anything in particular?"

"Umm just get me something good" Hinata responds to Kageyama.

"Alright then see you in a little" and just like that Hinata was left alone in their house.

"Wait I'm in our house? We don't have a house together, what is all of this? This must be a dream right?". As Hinata looks around he catches a glimpse of his hand and sees something shiny, it's a ring. "Am I married, to Kageyama!?"

Kageyama's POV: (still in dream)

I'm walking to the convenience store but I'm not sure what to get, whatever I'll just get meat buns. As I pay I hear a crazy loud noise from down the street and tilt my head to see what's happening, I couldn't really see anything but I heard people screaming. As I finish paying I go to check out what's happening just because if I didn't I would probably end up feeling guilty the rest of the day.

As I get close and closer I start seeing people run the other way, I want to run but I can't I keep getting drawn closer and closer to whatever caused panic. And once I arrive I hear people screaming "bomb!! Bomb!!!" But it's too late as I look down to my feet I see bits of a bomb that already went off and one right next to my left foot, it had 3 seconds left until it blew.

I tried running but I couldn't, I don't know why but I can't.

"Boom"

Hinata's POV (still in dream)

I hear a loud boom coming from the direction of the convenience store. I guess in my dream we live right next to a convenience store, weird, but I mean this is a dream so it's not too crazy.

I run outside to see what happened remembering that Kageyama went in that direction. I start getting worried and when I got there I saw him, on the floor, with cuts, scrapes and bloody. When I saw him I started bolting toward him and leaned down to him unconscious body.

"Kageyama!! Kageyama!! Wake upWake up!"

I know this is a dream but it feels super real now it feels too real.

"Please Kageyama please wake up don't leave me!!" I grab his bloody wrist and but my fingers on it trying to find a pulse but I couldn't find anything, so I went up to his neck, and nothing...nothing.

I feel nothing

"Oh.." Kageyama says glancing at Hinata who had just gave him a quick summary of the dream, or more like nightmare.

"Yeah I know it's weird" Hinata says trying to avoid eye contact with Kageyama.

"Hey no no no, I'm sorry I shouldn't have made fun of you" Kageyama says as he proceeds to cup Hinata's cheeks and stare into his eyes that were just watering. Kageyama hugged Hinata supper tight and gave him little kisses to make him feel better.

"Your hugs and kisses make me feel better Kageyama, thank you"

"Of course....it was still kinda funny tho"

"HEY!!! You're a meanie kageyama"

"I know"

And like that the two walked off, Hinata giggling, and Kageyama giving him a slight smile.

Okay I'm so sorry Ik I said this story would have smut but this book is so ass so I don't think I'll do it I kind of just want to get this one over with...

I probably will have some in my Tsukkiyama one and if not Daisuga, both of which I have yet to start😭😭
