Goodbye Mommy

Third Person POV:

"Kageyama! Kageyama! I need you to wake up" Hinata says nervously as he shakes Kageyama's arm.

"What, is it?" Kageyama says half awake, but fully wakes up when he sees Hinata's worried look.

"The hospital. Somethings wrong we need to go now!" Hinata says rushed as he puts on his clothes in a rush.

"Shit." Kageyama says runs out of the room to get Natsu.

"Natsu." Kageyama says in a calm voice trying not to worry her.

"Come on Natsu wake up! Natsu!"

She flutters her eyes open and squints as the sun reaches her face.

"Natsu, I don't want you to be scared, but we need to go to the hospital." Kageyama tells her as she sits up on her bed.

"My mommy, it's about mommy. Right?" She asks Kageyama with her head down. Kageyama sighs and picks her up.

"I don't know what going to happen, but I'm right here okay?"

"...okay".

And just like that they rush out the door and to the hospital.

"Room 304" The lady at the front dest says.

They rush over to the room and find the doctor outside of the door. She looks at them and gives them a sorry and kind look.

She nods at them, "it's time.." she says with sorrow in her eyes. She moves away from the door to let them in. As they step into the door way they see Hinata's mom on her bed.

She looks so sick, pale, so white that her skin is almost a light green, she's sweating and they can tell she can't breathe properly. She looks over to the door to see her kids and Kageyama.

"Ah m-my beautiful k-kids" she struggles to say as she looses more breath.

They walk over to her and pull up chairs next to her bed while Kageyama stays at the door entrance, Hinata grabs and kisses her hand.

She gives him a slight smile, nods, and turns to Natsu.

"My beautiful daughter." She starts. "N-Natsu, I don't w-want you to be s-scared. Do you know w-what is going t-to happen?"

"I think so. You're going to say goodbye...and then you're going t-to go to s-sleep, and I-I won't be a-able to s-see you anymore, and       y-you're going to h-heaven." She says as tears start forming in her eyes, grasping her moms hospital gown.

"T-thats right b-baby, but I-I want y-you to know t-that this is not y-your fault okay? I-I want you to l-listen to your brother a-and help him out o-okay?" She tells Natsu as she starts tearing up.

"Natsu, I-I want y-you to find s-someone who t-treats you well w-when you're older. w-we're not going to be a-able to go d-dress shopping and I w-wont be able to w-walk you down t-the aisle. B-but m-mommy will be watching o-over you o-okay?" She says as she gasped for air. Natsu nods and holds back her tears.

"I love you Natsu"

"I l-love you too mommy" she says trying to hug her moms lower body

She then turns to Shōyō who is looking down, still holding his moms hand, and letting tears flow from his eyes to off the tip of his nose.

"Shōyō-" but before she could continue, he started violently shaking his head.

"No, n-no mommy please" he says sobbing.

"Shōyō... Shōyō, I-I need you to look at me" she says as she cups his face in her hands.

"My b-beautiful b-boy, I am so so s-so sorry. I love you so m-much and I am s-so proud of you. d-don't be sad, I will w-watch o-over you every single s-second of every single day, find h-happiness, and do your best, it won't b-be easy, but I wouldn't give y-you something        y-you can not h-handle, d-don't ever give up my b-beautiful boy." She says as the monitor starts slowly increasing in speed.

"No no no no" Hinata says

"Shōyō, it's okay, i am h-happy" she says giving him and Natsu a warm smile at tears run down her face.

"Goodbye Natsu" she says

"Bye bye m-mommy"

"Goodbye my beautiful boy" she says

"Goodbye mommy"

"Oh one last thing" she turn to look at Kageyama who is noticeably tearing up.

"Take c-care o-of them f-for m-me." She says as the monitor starts flatlining.

"N-no!" Hinata shouts

"No, please no..." he says as he falls to his knees and holds his chest.

Natsu stands up out of her chair and turn around to Kageyama who is still in shock. She gives him a wide eyed blank stare.

"Can I c-cry n-now?" She asks. His eyes widen at her words.

"Y-yeah"

He runs up to them and hold Hinata's head to his shoulder blocking his view, and grabs Natsu by the waist as she cry's into his arm and he covers her eyes as the doctor roll their moms now covered body out of the room.

"Let it out guys, let it out" he says as tears start rolling down his face.
