Hinata POV:

It's been two years, two years since Kageyama and I got together and I met his dad. Thing are going great, his parents consider me a son and they're super chill too so we can do almost everything we want and they won't care. Since then, Kageyama has met my mom and Natsu. And my dad... let's not talk about him, he left us a long time ago I'm sure he doesn't even remember my name.

However, Natsu has grown a liking to Kageyama, and Kageyama to Natsu. I never thought Kageyama would like kids but he always tends so surprise me so I don't even know what to expect anymore. Natsu won't leave us alone though I think she likes Kageyama more than she likes me.

Everything seems well, my life seems good, but it's not all that great, my mother has been sick for years now but it didn't get bad until about a year ago. She's completely out of it and has been staying in the hospital, I've come to terms with what's going to happen soon, but it completely demolished all my plans for the future.

The doctors told me that she only has a few months left if we're lucky, and because I'm almost 18 and my dad is not in our life, I will take custody of Natsu. But I honestly have no idea what to do, I've been taking care of Natsu for a few months now and she's older so I think she understands our situation a bit more, but I don't know how I'm going to keep us financially stable and I just want Natsu to have a good childhood, I'm going to have to become more mature if I want to take care of her.

And the worst part is, I haven't told Kageyama yet

Third person POV

Hinata grabs out his phone and scrolls until he finds Kageyama's contact.

To: Kageyama 🥛💙
From: Hinata🍊

Hinata🍊: Hey Kageyama what are you up to?

Kageyama🥛💙: Hi nothing much, why?

Hinata🍊: Well.. I want to talk to you about something.

Kageyama🥛💙: What happened? Are you okay? Are you hurt?

Hinata🍊: no no it's nothing like that, can you just meet me at the park at 3:00?

Kageyama🥛💙: sure I'll be there.

And just like that Hinata started getting ready to meet Kageyama, he was ready to tell him.

Kageyama's POV:

I finished getting ready and headed to the park. I'm honestly kinda worried, I've noticed that Hinata's been off lately but I didn't want to say anything, maybe that's what he want to tell me.

I got to the park a little early and waited about 5 minutes until I saw Hinata slowly walk up to me.

"Hey" I say while getting up off a bench I was sitting on and hugging him and kissing the top of his head.

"Hey" he says giving me a forced uneasy smile. I sit him down on the bench as he looks down and plays with his hands I can tell he's nervous but I feel like if I call him out on it he'll be even more scared.

"Okay well I guess there's no correct way to tell you this so I'll try my best" he says still looking down.

"My mother has been sick for years, and she's gonna go soon. I'm going to take care of Natsu and I have no idea how I'm going to do it but I am!" He started, "It's going to be hard so i-if you want to l-leave me, that's o-okay." He says as his voice starts cracking. I can feel tears starting to form in my eyes and as a reflex I grab him and pull him into a tight hug. As I feel his arms wrap around my torso and I hear his sobs I start letting out a few silent tears as well.

"Hinata I don't want to hear you say that! I promised you that I'm never going to leave, I never b-break my promises." I cup his face in my hands so we can make eye contact. "I'll help!! I'll help you! I say now sobbing and holding him so tight.

"H-how can y-you help me?" He asks one between sobs.

"When we turn 18 we'll get married and my parents can give us money and we can have a house and we can watch over Natsu together and- and we'll be together forever, I'll help you.." I half shout at him.

I look at him, his eyes full of tears and he starts crying into my shoulder. I grab his face and start closing the space between us as his soft lips connect with mine, and for just a second everything is perfect. We release from the kiss and he leans on me.

"T-thank you k-kageyama."

Anyways THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR 1K READS!!!! This is so crazy I never thought that even one person would read this! I'm not sure why you read this haha this story sucks 😭😭

Also, I'm so sorry about any grammar or spelling mistakes, I live in the U.S.A but I live in a Japanese house hold so over the quarantine I have lost almost all of my vocabulary 😂 I'm trying to remember the "slang" you could say but I'll try my best for you guys!! Feel free to correct me!
