Huey POV

,,Listen up! For your vacation, it's you kids who choose where to go," suggested Scrooge at breakfast.

We leaned towards each other, and Louie whispered:

"Ithaquack."

"Good idea!" said Webby and everyone agreed with her.I think I thought so, but did Louie blush a little? What if he likes Webby? Strange that he didn't say anything to me or Dewey, or at least I think so. Uh... I guess I thought... As far as Ithaca is concerned, it's probably the only way to fly to her, because Scrooge doesn't really like this place.

"We choose Ithaquack," I said to Scrooge.

"All right, we'll go there for a week," agreed Scrooge, which surprised us greatly. I have some things to do there anyway."

"Go pack your things!" said Mom.

I packed quite quickly, fortunately in the Young Scout's Guide, I found a chapter on how to pack quickly. I took everything I could use: a flashlight, books, clothes and a lot of other useful things.

Webby POV

But I'm looking forward to this trip! Louie had a great idea! After breakfast, I ran quickly to my room. I took a pink suitcase (it fitted my bow!) and went up to the closet. I want to take some summer dress, because it is quite hot in Ithaquack. Surprisingly, I didn't have any pink one, but I found a yellow one. I tried it on, it fit. It looks good! I packed up quickly and went into the ventilation. You probably don't understand why. I want to see if the guys are ready. You guys must be thinking, "You couldn't knock now? I could, but if only one of them is ready and the others aren't, what do I do? I don't know. I looked down on them. Huey was ready. He just closed his suitcase. Dewey was still packing, and Louie was lazy about his clothes. I went back to my room.

I whispered to myself. "I'll see if I packed everything..."

I could've gone with Huey, I could've, but of the triplets I had the least to do with him. Alone, it could be weird.

Louie POV

I was sitting on the bed, picking things out and peeking at the phone from time to time. I sigh. I had to pick something besides my blouse. It's too hot for that. We were finally there when it wasn't summer, and now it's holiday. I found some green t-shirts, so I packed them too. Of course I prefer my hoodie, but green is always green and the t-shirts are pretty. I looked at the brothers. Did Huey just measure his suitcase? You better not get into that. Dewey was still packing. He took the biggest suitcase he had and packed a lot of stuff, but apparently it wasn't enough for him.

"Hey, kids!" called Mom in the hallway to get our attention. My brothers and I went out and saw that Webby had also left her room. We set up in a kind of a row in front of Dell. I was standing next to Webby and Dewey.

"Would you like something from the store?" Mom asked.

I asked for PEP, Webby for jellybeans, Dewey for chips, and Huey for some strange foreign candy that I can't pronounce because I can't. We're back to packing. Webby's finished, so I said she can help me if she wants to. She said she'd love to. I have no idea why I blushed. I don't like Webby at all!

Dewey POV

After Louie asked Webby to help me pack up, I looked at Huey. Apparently, he didn't get the allusion.

"Maybe you'd like to help me too," I asked, and Huey turned his eyes over.

"I don't know what else you want to pack in there!" he said, "You've taken almost everything you've got, and we're only going for a week, why do you need a winter coat on Ithaquack?"

"In case of snow," I replied, a little confused. Now, Huey made it sound really idiotic.

"Oh," he sighed, "I can help you, but seriously, take the winter stuff out for nothing in the summer."

"What if Zeus throws lightning again?" I said.

"I don't think that's gonna help your jacket." Huey ran his hand over his face.

"Good, good, good. I'll put the jacket down, I'll just take the umbrella," I discussed.

"Eh" sighed Huey again. I think I was starting to piss him off...

Webby POV

I helped put Louie's things in his green suitcase. He packed very nice t-shirts. I've never seen him in one. We talked while hearing Huey and Dewey talking.

"I wonder what they're arguing about again..." says Louie.

"I'd be betting on a suitcase. It's just a guess, but maybe after you offered to help you, and I said yes, Dewey asked for help too, Huey. He noticed that Dewey had a lot of unnecessary stuff in his suitcase and that's how the fight started." I said, and Louie laughed.

"You know us so well." He said, putting on a baseball cap and checking to see if she's still good for him. I blushed. Wait a minute. What? Why am I blushing? Oh, mother, no...!

I like Louie! His beautiful and lazy personality, his face, his ironic type of life... How could I not see that? How could I have missed it?

Huey POV

When I convinced Dewey not to take the umbrella with him (because it doesn't make sense!) and Webby helped Louie with his suitcase, Scrooge yelled:

"Are you ready? We're about to get fired!"

We all came downstairs, where all the adults were standing with big backpacks.

"What did you guys pack there?" asked Scrooge.

"Only the most important things," I said, "are true. We got on the plane, where Launchpad was waiting for us. We were surprised that he was not sitting (as usual) at the wheel, but in second place.

"Dumbella's driving" whispered Donald, seeing our faces.

We were bending our heads and taking our seats: Me and Dewey (I wanted to make sure he packed all his winter clothes) and Louie from Webby. I still wonder if he likes Webby for Louie. There are some... others?

Dewey POV

Huey's a little pissed off already. It's my luggage, not his, what's it to him? Della walks by us from time to time. I think she wants to make sure everybody's having a good time. If she cares, I can be happy. When we fly out and Mommy walks past us again, I ask for my chips. Mom nods her head and goes to the front of the plane, where she snores somewhere and comes back after a few minutes with my crisps. Huey looks at me and after a while she asks Della for his foreign sweetness, which she also brings. I open my crisps. They're ordinary, but I still like them. Huey eats his candy, which looks like a regular candy bar, but I don't tell him that, because he's so pissed off at me anyway. I'm bored, so I want to open my luggage and take my notebook out of it. I write down interesting things that happen in it, and if nothing happens, I just make it up, which is also interesting. Huey yells at me to stop wriggling after I accidentally hit him in the belly.
