...Huey

Huey POV

,,So I like...Huey," said Emily, blushing. My brothers moaned. I ran up to her and hugged her hard. She laughed and then she got serious and turned to my brothers.

,,But... but we're fine, right?" She asked, looking at them. 

They were banging their heads sadly. I would have felt sorry for them if it hadn't been for the girl of my dreams. Dewey looked at me angry, and Louie... Louie was just staring at the floor, saying nothing. Looking at Emily, I couldn't help but kiss her. I walked up to her and our beaks came in contact. I closed my eyes. It was a magical moment. After the kiss, I looked at the faces of my brothers. Dewey was staring at me with such anger that if his look could kill, I would die on the spot and Louie would just stand there, suddenly, I saw his eyes shining. Okay, for the record, never kiss Emily in front of my brothers. I looked at her. She looked back at me. We heard the bell. My brothers, still silent, went to their classrooms, and Emily and I thought the same thing. I took her by the hand and led her to my class. I wouldn't want to be in class with Dewey, that could be awkward.

,,Good morning." I told to teacher.

,,Hello, Huebert" She said ,,Emily? You're going to another class, right?"

,,Oh, yeah, but I'd like to go to this one" Emily said, and the teacher took a look at her.

,,Well, I don't see any reason why I shouldn't let you do that. Besides, Huey's the best student and he could help you if you wanted" she answer.

Emily was nodding her head and sat on the bench next to me. She looked pretty insecure, so I grabbed her hand and she sent me a warm smile that warmed my heart. She was so innocently sweet.

,,Don't worry" I said, putting my hand on her shoulder ,,Your teacher will agree unless you don't want to, just tell me and..."

,,No, Huey, that's not the point" she said nervously ,,I'm afraid I messed up the friendship with Dewey and Louie."

,,Don't worry about them." I said ,,They'll get over it, they'll get to know someone else and everything will work out. And by the way... I have a gift for you!"

She looked at me with surprise. I took out of my backpack, a red hat, the same one I had on my head.

,,Oh, dear! It's so cute" she said, putting on the hat. ,,How do I look?"

,,Perfect," I said, smiling at her. Perfectly, that was the word I was looking for when I thought of her, and now she was even more perfect, if at all possible.

,,Ready," said the lady, drawing the attention of all the students. ,,Class, meet Emily."

She pointed at her.

,,Oh! She has the same hat as Huey!" someone called after me. ,,That's so sweet."

My class was really okay and everyone was nice, but that doesn't change the fact that Emily and I had the color of the hat.

,,Okay, you'll see later," said the teacher. ,,Today we're writing a dictation, and you, Emily, too, because I know that in your class, it was planned."

The teacher gave us the cards and gave us some time to write down the name, and I quickly pulled the card out and wrote "I love you, pretty girl" on it, and then I gave it to Emily. She looked at me surprised, and then she opened it. She smiled while reading, and then she wrote back to me and gave it to me. I opened it: "I love you too, Teddy. I blushed. She was incredibly sweet and nice and nice and lovely.
